The East Side can be sketchy at best. But, if you are venturing over here and are looking for some of its diverse flavor, this is the spot. Leave your pretensions at home and enjoy a great collection of East Side regulars being well taken care of by a staff that knows how to deal with good customers and riff-raff alike.

In my opinion, no bar has better specials including their usual free drink for a Twins home run or Vikings touchdown.

The place has been cleaned up quite a bit since the last time I was here. Pay $3.75 for a Beefeater and Tonic with about 5 oz of gin. Wow, super cheap drinks. Free drinks when the Twins score a home run or the Wild score a goal.

Check out the long list of items you can't wear while in Erick's. We were laughing our asses off that you can't sport a "Dew Rag" Well, then how am I supposed to remove moisture from leaves and my windshield early in the morning?
