I can't believe I have waited over a year and a half to go here. Â Sure I had my excuses... I just ate... I have food in the fridge... I'm supposed to meet someone at ____... such lame excuses.
The Crescent Inn does burgers right.  I had the Southwest burger - cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeños.  The star is the burger itself.  Hand pressed, seasoned and cooked just right.
With a side of the best deep fried cheese curds (that I have found thus far) and a cold beer, it just doesn't get much better than this.
The ambiance is one of a dive burger bar, but things are very clean. Â "Killer" handles the cooking... and with a name like that, I don't have a choice but to give the Crescent Inn 5 stars*.
They do not accept Credit/Debit cards, but do have an ATM with a $2 fee, so bring cash.
*Note my 5 stars for a burger joint is not to be compared to a 5 star fancy steakhouse. Â I judge based on it's own merits.
My 21st b-day ended here with a shot of soco and an interesting lady named Judy. This is acctualy a really nice place. They remodeled after MN when smoke free and they now serve lunch. There is a volleyball court outside of the deck. My only con is the weird bathroom doors that no one can work after having a few. Stop by on the way through town.
