Great wine bar! Upscale environment, knowledgable waiters, great wine selections, and great prices. The only thing I'm not to crazy about is the food. But if your going there for wine, you won't be disappointed!

We had a great dinner here again. Thus far we have never been disappointed! The Rack of Lamb was done perfect and 5 *****'s ! We have been going there since opening and Crush is consistent so that is a big plus!

Went this past weekend for happy hour on SATURDAY!! Yes you read that right SATURDAY until 7pm. After shopping at CarMax we drove over, could easily walk but it was 105 degrees outside. You get the point.
Great happy hour selection. Had the Napa Peach Pizza, Lollipop wings, ceviche, shared a mixed greens steak salad, beer on tap, and their wonderful unique and STRONG Crushtini. Got a good buzz just from one cocktail. Always a good feeling!

    10* for look .
    2* for services
    10* food
10* how fast food came out.

The place looks great. Good was fantastic. Had the lamb sicks. I wasn't that hungry. It taste great. Servers bothered you to much.

This is sort of a dressy/casual restaurant. Do not be like me and show up in summer wear.

First time I have ever been here. Very upscale inside the restaurant.  Decor is nice. As for the food it was good. Nothing really to rave about. The bf ordered the lunch special, Sonoma Melt, which was a giant burger with an onion ring and this really good spread they put in it. I got the mahi mahi which came on a bed of white rice and a couple if special sauces. And for dessert we got the chocolate bomb cake. It was a little too rich for me. It was more like eating a chocolate candy bar or fudge, the waiter said it was like a brownie... not really. Would I come back here?...no. Like I said food here is good, there was just no wow factor for me to be a regular at this place.

Good for locals. I wouldn't make it a destination.
It's kind of a big place. "Upscale".

There's outdoor seating in front of the restaurant and when you enter, there's a circular bar right in the middle, tables in the bar area, and dim dining rooms to the left and right.

I've had good to really good food here. They incorporate the word 'crush' where they can and it's kinda cheesy to me. The service has been great.

They have a happy hour with food and drink specials..
    Sunday Brunch buffet style.

If you like Napa pretentiousness without the drive to Napa this is for you.   Basically an upscale TGIFridays, and I like TGIF, but not at these prices.  Pathetic wine by the glass list, at least if you want value.  OK bottle list, but sure as heck no deals.  If you have driven this far, you are better of driving a little farther and going to Hawks.

Was starving and had to stop in for something to eat and was blown away by the service and fabulous food.  Peter our waiter was awesome and the new Sonoma Sandwich is something everyone should try.   Also, the best tomato basil soup I have ever had.

Love going here to get a jalapeno martini and the ceviche after a long day at work. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and clean surroundings.

This restaurant is just fabulous!  There were 3 in our party.  We shared the lamb popsicles, the pear salad (huge) and the mahi mahi dinner.  Plenty of food for all of us.  We finished with the cheese cake which was to die for;  Absolutely terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Was here for a Bachelorette party dinner, first time here but I was impressed. Our party was seated in a private room which was nice. I was a bit skeptical, I thought since we were in a room off to the side we would get less attention and bad service but that was not the case. Order the Kobe beef burger it was delicious! Thanks to that burger I know have an obsession with Bacon so thanks a lot crush 29 ;-) Drinks were yummy, will definitely come back soon :)

I came here earlier this year with two friends for a birthday brunch. First of all, their brunch special is GREAT.  Twenty bucks for endless buffet visits and bottomless mimosas??  The eggs benedict was great, as was the chocolate fountain.  We got there for the tail end of the brunch and I ended up grabbing the last cinnamon roll.  We asked our waitress, who was super nice BTW, if there would be more cinnamon rolls coming out, and she said no.  Sad face.  But to make up for it she brought us two desserts instead!  The decor is super nice and the booths are quite comfortable. The mimosas were probably the best I've ever had, though I wish the glasses were bigger! :)

Extremely inattentive poor service from wait staff despite very light attendance on a Saturday night at 7PM.  No problem getting seated, but service after that was not good, bread sticks requested three times of three different staff before being brought.  Waitress taking food and drink order spent way too long standing at nearby cash register without looking over to see if we were ready, checking her iPhone at times.  Special cocktails, mine the ginger liqueur-based drink too weak, house brand Smirnoff certainly not a stellar choice with what's available these days.  Veggie pizza lacking in flavor or creative selection of toppings.  Nice interior and lighting.

Horrible. Rip off. Don't go here for prom. They give your whole group a "prom night" menu and you have the choice of one salad as the first course and a choice of 4 entrees and no Body wanted the choices....to top if off the services was horrible. Took forever to get our food. We were there for an 1 1/2 hrs. And some how the price per person was $38. I guess the tip was included? And we were only given one bill for 30+ people when we all needed separate checks. I ended up paying $78 for something I hated and didn't eat. I am so unbelievably mad. Crush 29 is such a rip off

Crush 29 never fails to satisfy my craving for some good food.  We ate here with friends last night, and everyone in our party was completely satisfied with what they ordered.  We went at a really busy time too (several groups of high school Prom goers and a bachelorette party were there) but were able to get a table in the bar when we walked in.  This was perfect because we were a group of 4 and we were able to order relatively fast.

We didn't get any appetizers this last time, but the artichoke and the calamari here are great and I highly recommend them.  I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Risotto and was extremely happy with my choice.  It's more of an American style risotto, but still extremely flavorful and a lot of food (I took half of mine to go, which I will enjoy for lunch today).

All in all, a great time and great food.

Awesome Sunday brunch. $20 for delicious food and bottomless mimosas. We will be back! Friendly staff and fresh food. I couldn't ask for more. The restaurant itself is really nice looking too!

I'm a fan. Went there on Saturday for a friend's birthday party around 7PM.  They have beautiful seating outside for smokers which is nice.  The ambience is very nice.. Lights are dimmed and there are fireplaces around the restaurant. They also have a couple of rooms you can reserve for bigger parties but they were booked so we had a couple tables set up for our party of 18. Appetizers all around which were delish!  The flat bread trio And coconut covered prawns are a must try!!  Their pizzas are also great.  Sausage Pesto and Napa Peach pizza. Yes, peach! yumm.  I gave 4 stars because we had 2 waiters who were not so friendly and I had to ask one to refill my water.

I used to dine here a lot the first couple of years they were open. My Husband and I recently had dinner here for our anniversary. Everything was fine. The only reason I say 3 stars is the menu has not changed since they opened. Some people might like that, I think they need to freshen it up a little. It was dead on a Friday night, maybe 3 tables in our whole section were full. Pretty sad since I remember in the past you had to have a reservation to get a table. I think Paul Martins took all of their business. We dropped our son off across the street at Kids Camp and couldn't find parking and Paul Martin's was packed. Crush is a beautiful restaurant but it seems to have lost it's edge.

Not much to look at from the outside, but inside the restaurant it's a modern eatery with excellent food!

I recommend the Pear Salad for starters.  Crisp greens, not too much dressing and sweet pears.  All natural and fresh.  For dinner i had the Snap Crackle Salmon. Excellent mixture of sweet and savory finish.  The fish was fresh, cook perfectly and served hot!  It was served with potatoes (good, but I only has a few bites) and asparagus.  My only criticism was they did not peel the asparagus before cooking.  The ends tend to get a bit fibrous and woody.  I cut them off about an inch from the bottom and they were fine.

As for fresh fruit for dessert!

Food was good. Service was good. I was happy that we went late on a Friday night and we were not rushed or told, 'well we are closing in about an hour." I've often gotten this at other places and it just comes off like, "we are trying to start clean up so we can get out early so you might want to go somewhere else...."

We tried all the popular items.
We ordered the Lamb Lollipops appetizers and they were a great start.

I had the Drunken Brandy Steak and a couple of others in my party had the Snap Crackle Salmon. Everything was presented well, tasted great and was cooked properly. The service was good as well.

A little pricey, but it is to be expected as it is a nicer sit down restaurant with great food and a beautiful decor.

Only con is that they didn't have a great beer selection.... but I'm a beer guy and this isn't really a beer bar. Still it's good to have a couple decent micro-brews on tap.

I will definitely be coming back here.

Crush 29 is one of my favorite restaurants in Roseville. It has a cool, sophisticated vibe great for a professional dining experience or a classy date. The food is delicious. My favorite menu items are the artichoke appetizer, the prime rib sandwich, the napa peach pizza, and the braised short ribs. Definitely worth a try if you've never been here!

Oh yeah, and make sure and check out the bathrooms, especially if you are there during the day!  Very nice.

Came here on Valentines day and had a great time =]

The bf made an early last-minute reservation, but as soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and shown our seats! Our waitress (I think her name was Alexis?) was awesome, and even though the Valentine crowd quickly filled up the establishment, we were told to take our time and enjoy ourselves. Needless to say, we didn't feel even a tad rushed!

Upon being seated, we ordered a few cocktails and they were both very delicious. I highly recommend the Blueberry Martini, it was a 5/5! The Jalepeno martini was awesome as well, though a little on the sour side 4/5. I ordered the Ahi Tuna as my appetizer and while it was definitely tasty, and the fish was of good quality, it was overall a little too salty for my taste, 3/5. The boyfriend ordered the coconut prawns, and even though I usually hate prawns they were SOOO good!! 4.5/5 for sure. Next up was the Caesar Salad, which was actually the only disappointment of the evening because it tasted very fishy 2/5. I did have a few sips of the mushroom soup and it was AMAZING, 5/5. Finally, we got our entrees and mine was the Filet Mignon Pasta. The plate was great, awesome flavors and a good sized portion. Definitely a 4.5/5! We were too stuffed for dessert, but the food did come quickly and was overall very good!

Oh, I almost forgot to note that the interior of the restaurant is very beautiful. Great ambiance to enjoy yum yums in!

    We will be back!

We just had a birthday celebration here in their banquet room during Sunday Brunch. The food and service were very good-especially the service. I have been hearing about employees getting IOUs for paychecks, downgrading of ingredients with no adjustment to price, and general employee mistreatment and this is why my rating is not a 4 or 5. Again--kudos to the staff!

Next to Paul Martin's, which is located across the street, Crush 29 is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in the Roseville area. The food and service have always been great and it's always a good time when going there.

    The Place -
Crush 29 has a very upscale and trendy feel to it. Although the dress code is casual, when you walk in, you can't help but feel you're underdressed to be eating there. The place itself is fairly big and the ceilings are high which prevent you from feeling as if you're a sardine in a sardine can like how most "high end" places can leave you feeling. The front entrance has gigantic doors and the hostess podium is more like a hostess altar...the thing is gigantic, but fits well with the other decor.

    The Service -
We were immediately greeted and seated, which was surprising for a Friday night and our waiter immediately tended to our needs. While I have been here a few times, it was the rest of my party's first time at Crush so they needed a few minutes to look through the menu. In the meantime, we ordered a few bottles of wine and was pleasantly surprised to see them open the bottles in a traditional manner. The exceptional service never ended and it was very nice to have such a great experience with the employees, even briefly chatting about random topics as they would visit our table.

    The Food -
The menu is pretty focused only offering a few choices, which is always a plus for me. It lets me know that the Chef knows what he/she is looking for and that the Front of the House trusts the Back of the House to come up with something so focused, but yet still be appealing to all that visit. I, of course, naturally went with the Burgundy Braised Short Ribs dish as I always do when it's on any menu. With the best braised short rib dish I've EVER had being at Paul Martin's, which is across the street, I figured Crush would have to have something to compete...and I wasn't let down. Crush 29 delivered with a great braised short rib dish with the meat being very tender and not needing your knife to cut it. The flavors were beautiful and the seasoning was spot on. The potatoes it came with were creamy and smooth and was a great side to the short ribs. While still an amazing dish, I DO still prefer the short ribs dish at Paul Martin's; however, Crush 29 is very, very close to it.

    Overall -
In a nutshell, I can't stop saying positive things about Crush 29. I look forward to coming back to try all the other dishes, but in the meantime, I am very satisfied with the experiences I've had so far. If you need a place to unwind, relax, and treat yourself to a nice dinner, Crush 29 is an excellent choice. Great job, guys! Bon Appetite!

My friend made reservations for15 people on a Saturday night. When we arrived we got our own serving room. The table looked really nice.

The service was great and we got our food in a timely manner. I ordered the peach pizza and it was pretty good, but it wasn't hot. It was warm. It's nothing to rave about, but satisfying.

Also, ordered a peartini. Its the first time I ordered the Peartini and will be my last. Tasted like watered down vodka with a drop of pear juice. Tip: order the blueberry martini - a little on the sweet side but very good.

3 stars for excellent customer service and room.

What has happened to this place? I've been here several times and each time it seems to have gone down hill. Service and food was mediocre.
They took a lot of things off their menu and replaced them with high priced meat or fish dishes. They need to class up those selections if they are going to serve them.
I had the mahi mahi and it was probably the smallest fish cut I've ever got. Flavoring was ok but I finished the meal and felt like I needed to order another dish!
Ordered the ahi tuna appetizer and it was the worst cut of ahi I've tasted. I can barely even talk about it! Ew.
Drinks were ok, ordered dirty martini's- not the best I've had. IMO they should have been excellent considering we upgraded to Grey Goose.

Happy hour is not bad but they could have more selections for cocktails, tons of beer though. The happy hour food is pretty reasonable and if you stick with the pizza or other appetizer type dishes *minus the ahi* I think you won't have issues.

Sad to say I'm disappointed in this upper scale Roseville restaurant. Probably won't be going back for a long time.

The hunny and I had a date night here the other night. A few things went on that bothered me (1) our waiter mumbled when speaking to us about the menu and specials they had going on, to the point where I wasn't sure if he was talking to us or himself; (2) we waited, and waited, oh and waited some more to get out bill... Waiting for the bill alone took more time that it did to wait for our food and eat it put together.

The food itself was okay. My boyfriend liked the special they had with the lobster tail - steak however wasn't so great. I loved the Cherry Lime Drop cocktail though.

Well there happy hour prices crep up like all places...
But the service at the bar makes up for it....great service I've notice......
the beer temp. has improved..... the prime rib sandwich
is lacking prime rib....seems all bread.....disappointed.....
I'll be back....I like this place , especially the bar....

I had a fabulous meal here. The lemon drops were smooth sailing down my throat and the snap crackle salmon was mmm mmm good. Wrapped in Rice Krispies, the salmon had a great texture that was very palette pleasing. Crush 29 is a very chique ambiance and offers a very trendy a warm setting. I enjoyed dinner with friends, but this is a great date spot as well.

OMG...their pizza is AMAZING. Wash it down with some beer or cocktails and good company and I am a happy girl! Pizza is cooked in an old brick over. Crust is think and crunchy. Great happy hour! Service might be a little slow at times but a great classy place for catching up with my loved ones.

Too bad they dont have places like this where I am from...So glad I live in the area now! Great food and so many things to see and do!

Recently came here again for my work's Christmas lunch.  Same old menu, same old bleh-ness.  I got the Achiote Glazed Mahi Mahi...and I just want to know, does the chef know how to cook fish...at all?! It was burnt on the outside and dry as the Sahara desert on the inside.  And whoever thought the blood orange gastrique was any good is high.  The gastrique was so sweet you can barely eat it...paired with the sweet corn sauce, which again is sweet, is just disgusting.

Service was pretty good this time, our waitstaff was attentive and quick, so I give them props for that...but their food needs some major improvement.

This place used to be great! Really busy and a fun place to be.

However, it seems like the management or ownership has created a negative change. Dinner with my husband was not a great experience. The waitress was short with us, especially when I didn't order a drink, and was absent a lot. On a separate occasion, we spotted one of the waitresses getting friendly with the bartender.

There are so many better restaurants that give a better experience in the area.

    Get Happy!

The appetizers are a good portion during happy hour and the selection on the menu makes it affordable for everyone! My favorite was the Stone Hearth Fennel Sausage & Pesto pizza for $5. Yummy!  Nice, casual, elegant, place to dine with a large selection of wine. I still have yet to try their Sunday Brunch. I was here at the cutting of ribbon when it first opened about 4 years ago. Valet service available...

My wife and I had received a gift card for Crush 29 so we decided to try it out. It was a holiday Monday evening and we arrived at 5:30 PM. We were seated quickly and greeted by our waiter. I love wine but after going through the menu, I decided that the wine prices were too high. I think the least expensive glass of wine was around $6.50 and went up to $16.75. We decided to forgo any alcohol with our dinner and focus on the food.

My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich ($12.95) and I ordered the Peppercorn Fillet Minion Pasta ($16.95). As we waited, I noticed some small details that I thought were not acceptable in a restaurant that was presenting itself as higher end. First, our small bistro style table constantly wobbled due to uneven legs or floor. Then I noticed that our candles were not lit and the room was dim.  A short time later, an employee came along and lit all the candles on the tables.  When our food arrived, I noticed we did not have any bread.  We asked the waiter for some bread and he graciously brought some out, but I was 3/4's of the way done with my meal when it arrived. Again, these are small details but I find them important when evaluating the overall experience.

Our food came in a reasonable amount of time and like many couples, we sampled each others choices. My wife's sandwich was a reasonable size and tasted good. The grilled onions complimented the sandwich perfectly. While we both liked the bread on the sandwich, we felt it made the sandwich dry. A little more Au jus sauce or spread could have been alleviated this.  The waiter served the French fries in a tall container, but the fries were simple Julian cut fries with salt.

My Peppercorn Fillet Minion Pasta was tasty but I had some serious doubt about the meat being Fillet Minion. The meat was small cubes, a few of which were gristle and tough.  In fact, the mushroom pieces were larger and more plentiful than the meat. The pasta was OK, and over all the taste of my meal was satisfying. I would have been happier if they had called the meal "Peppercorn Beef Pasta" and left the Fillet Minion out of the name. After looking at the desert menu, we were not inspired to get anything. Our bill, with the two entrees and colas was just a few cents over $40.00. I could see a couple easily spending $75 to $100 once they added a glass of wine, a drinks and desert.

Having gone to Crush 29, I can understand why the reviews are all over the board.  It is a nice modern Napa Cuisine style establishment with good service and a nice selection of food and wines. I feel the prices were too high to justify the quality of food and selection of available wines. My guess is you are paying mostly for architecture and décor.

While I enjoy fine dining, I also enjoy value and I am just not seeing it here. I suspect we will not be returning to Crush 29.

Came here for Sunday brunch.  We got there 10 minutes before it opened at 10AM so we had to wait a little for the buffet to be set up.  Brunch was $21.95 per person, which I thought was pricey considering it was just a regular restaurant in a plaza, not a hotel one.

Started off with some coffee to drink, but it was lukewarm and not the best tasting coffee.  I had some bottomless mimosa too, but it wasn't that strong so wasn't too impressed.

Buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, potatoes, bagel, lox, cream cheese, waffle station, french toast, cinnamon rolls, quiche, pasta, salad, and fruit salad.  The french toast was good, but skip the cinnamon rolls with pecans.  They were hard to eat and it was pretty dry.  Had some eggs, bacon, and sausage, but wasn't anything special.  Overall, I was full from the food, but I didn't think the quality of food was $22 worth.  Service wasn't very attentive either that I regret leaving a 15% tip.  Did I even need to leave a 15% tip at a buffet?!

I used to really enjoy this place.  You can definitely see the customer service and quality going the wrong direction.  Had a birthday dinner with a large party and it took forever for everything!  Calamari and Ahi appetizers did not taste fresh and the calamari was cold.  We had to ask for the same item at least twice just to get it.  A lot of our party was done before one of our guests were given her entree.  The server brought out an entree salad to one of our guests as an appetizer....just a very frustrating meal.

I've been a server before so I do understand how it can be.  However, it was a very slow night and there weren't many tables at all.

Just an all around bad experience for someones special day.

I am a HUGE fan of Crush.
I have been here once for dinner, once for brunch, and a few times for happy hour.

They have great food! I love their steak for dinner. The bruch is buffet style and they have tons to choose from. They're constantly putting fresh food out so nothing is sitting very long.
They have what is probably my favorite happy hour in town. $5 pizzas that are big enough to share and yummy pulled pork sliders.
Don't forget the Crushtini! i love it when i"m in the mood for a cocktail..but usually i stick to the Pino Grigio ;)

If you want to have a date night, girls night, or whatever, this is the place!
