Myself and 3 friends were in Burlington yesterday looking at a property and decided to stop in for lunch. MISTAKE. From the outside, it looks like great location - right on the water, excellent views, how could you screw that up? I'll tell you how...

We were seated at a water-front table, which was nice and proceeded to order drinks. 3 beers (corona and 2 flying fish) and 1 diet coke. There is nothing special about the beers, mind you. No micro-brews, nothing interesting, just standard, run-of-the-mill beers...that came out in -no shit- dixie cups. Those cups that you have at kid's parties for drinks that are like, 12oz at BEST. Little, clear, plastic cups. It's was a WTF moment.

We ordered food - nachos, chicken salad wrap, spinach salad, 2 crab cake sandwiches. The chicken salad wrap was good and way bigger than I had though. The spinach salad was just that, spinach and dressing - nothing else- and it was $10! KISS MY ASS!  The crab cake sandwiches consisted of a crab cake that was described to me as "puddingy...like there's too much liquid in here and I can't tell if it's fresh" (If you can't tell then it probably isn't fresh, FYI) on a standard hamburger bun, no fires, no chips, no nothin'.

Now folks, let me ask you, how much would you expect to pay for this meal? $45? $50? HOW ABOUT $100 GODDAMNED AMERICAN DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, you heard me $100! When they brought the bill out, we were all stunned. I was apoplectic, literally, I think one of my eyes popped out of my head for a bit. We settled up because we are good people, but I was pissed. I'm still pissed. I'm mostly pissed because we gave this joke of a restaurant our business when there are far more well-deserving, small places that take pride in what they put out that we could have given our money to.

Take my advice - pass this place up and while you are passing it, give it the finger and go support a real restaurant.

Its a must in the summer.  The view is incredible with a laid back atmosphere.  The food is not memorable and service matches, however you will feel like your on vacation.  Soak in the boat culture, live music then kick back and watch the sunset.

Curtins is what it is. We are always looking forward to opening after Memorial day, and sad to see it close after Labor day. Sure the 12 oz beers are about $5, but they are only open for a few months to make their money, yet maintenance and taxes are paid for 12 months. On top of that, there have been some stinking hot or wet days when you might avoid the place and they dont make anything. New wifi is free.
On a recent Sat afternoon, the place had the atmosphere of a Margaritaville. The band was lively, the waitresses are cute and attentive, and everyone seemed to be having a good time enjoying the weather on the river. Too bad there isn't more room for visiting boaters, as many gave up looking for a parking space. Also, at least one tv for Phillies games would be nice.
My turkey wrap special, and my wife's veggie melt on a bun were delicious. The app dyna-bites and sauce also were good. Go on a nice day, relax, and don't worry about spending a few extra $ for the beers. If that bothers you, got to Doc's Irish pub where the beer is cheaper and there are are no windows.
