Okay, I know the service is always slow here. Â No biggie, as long as the food was okay, and the service was friendly. Â However, today was the worst service ever from the employee AND the manager! Â
I went through the drive through and ordered a chicken strip basket with extra gravy. Â I Â waited for 15 minutes as two cars in front of me were served, and when I pull up to the window I see my chicken strip basket sitting in the window. Â I was hoping that the food hadn't been sitting there for the full 15 minutes. Â I asked the drive thru person to make sure the fries are hot because last time I had come through the fries were cold (and they were). Â She said "I will check" and goes away and comes back withing a minute and hands me my box. Â It felt hot, so I thought "Yeah". Â Then I got home I opened my box to find the gravy is burnt in the little cups, the bread hard, the fries a weird mix of burnt and cold which honestly looked like they had microwaved the whole box.
I called the store and asked to speak with the manager and here is where bad went to worse.  The manager started giving me excuses stating that they have many new employees and she will make sure they will be told not to microwave food.  WHAT?!?  I told her it was more than just that her new employees need training, but I just wasted $10 (the basket with drink was actually $9.30).  She said, "well I can write  your name down and you will get a free replacement of the food, that is all I am authorized to give." Â
Before the employees are in charge of food they should be trained, but you know just being nicer and more apologetic when a customer calls to complain. Â With all the varied choices a food customer has now, it is more important than ever that a not so fast food restaurant gets this.
