  food is alright. place is a little bit more confortable then it used to be because the restaurant is no longer owned by some greedy douchbag old fart.(i used to work there i know)so now they've updated on their drive thru so now they have headsets so the customers dont have to hear everything the driver is saying while they are eating which was really annoying, they finally have music playing in this damn place, when i worked there, the owner was soo fucken stingy he didnt wanna pay for radio, he didnt accept coupons, he didnt offer any kind of discount to the employee's ,we couldnt even get free soda for crying out loud, it was RIDICULOUS!!!
  but now its a better atmosphere:)

  This is a disgusting place. The staff is rude and it's the worst del taco I've ever had.. My friend found a hair on her quesadilla as they were rude to us about it  totally unprofessional! Don't come here! Rude people..

  Went to Del Tace this morning, asked for extra del scorho sauce. The lady in the drive threw said she there were some in the bag.  I said my have please have about 15 (i had a big order) she said she can not give me more thatn 20 and that's what it in the bag.  I got home there were 5.  Really if you cannot give me what I ask for then sell them to me.  But don't lie.

  Ok, so the other night I stopped to grab a bite to eat at this DT on the way home from the OC.  Before leaving I had to use the restroom and since they are located outside at this particular location, it would make logical sense that I go outside right?  Anyway, went outside and an employee was there so I asked "do I need a key to use the restroom"  She proceeded to hand me a LARGE cup.  I was actually thinking out loud that she is really handing me a cup to take a leak in?  Upon further observation I noticed that the key was attached to the cup.  Point being, always look before you speak....it can save yourself some embarrassment.
  
  Other than that, this is a typical DT location.  It is a convenient pit stop between OC and home, staff is friendly, orders are correct and I have to say, I am a sucker for fast food from DT.

  NICOLE D. is right.
  I'm a San Clemente Native and this place was my go to highschool special. They actually fill your taco with an adequate amount of meat!
  
  Unlike the other chains of del taco, the tacos are filling! And you can just grab piles of sauces without having to ask for it like a child. I like that they just have bins of hot sauce packets for me to dive into.
  
  Del Taco took taco bell off the map for me, and if your in the mood for some cheap, standard fast food that will get the job done. there is no greater alternative.

  So...I am a big Del Taco fan, and always look forward to Vegas and the river, so we can stop at the Del Taco in Barstow. I have found it's equivalent in San Clemente!

  This is dumb!  I know it.  
  But it has been on my mind for a few days since now, I have since been scanning areas which have Del Tacos.  
  
  Unfortunately, areas with Del Tacos tend to be rather ghetto.  Not trying to be a snob or anything, but lets be honest.  This is good ol college days food.  At UCI, we always were hanging out at a grease joint called Norm's.  This is the same kind of nostalgic cheapness.  
  
  Ding frickin' ding! Taco Tuesdays are still here!  I remember 10 years ago when the tacos were 3 for $1.00.  Now they have raised their prices to 3 for $1.09.  What a frickin' steal.  They also have LARGE beef and bean burritos for $4.00.  I grabbed 6 tacos for $2.00 and went to town with the hot sauce.  Good stuff.  
  
  So never mind that the hot sauce has MSG derivatives.  Never mind the sauces are full of cancer-causing nitrite preservatives.  Never mind that the taco shells are made with artery-clogging palm oil.  Never mind that the meat is 20-30% oatmeal.  And finally, never mind that the the meat also includes a large percentage of textured vegetable protein (tofu).
  
  I got 6 more to go and the way out.
