What a great Thursday! My boyfriend and I went here for the Dining Out for Life HIV prevention event in New Orleans. Delachaise was one of the establishments that agreed to donate 25% of all profits to HIV/AIDS organizations.
We got there pretty early, around 5:30 PM and it was just starting up. We stopped by the bar and looked over the great $25 bottle specials offered that night and ended up on a sparkling rose. We also drooled over the cute little cheese clipboard as we marked off our four selections: a french blue, a "funky" goat cheese, an interesting cheddar with mustard seeds and ale, and one other goat cheese. We then took our wine in its nice silver ice bucket and proceeded outside to sit and talk while we gazed on St. Charles and people watched and listened to the big old streetcars amble by loaded with tourists heading to and from downtown.
Our cheese selections came out on a smart slate cheeseboard. They were accompanied by a toasted baguette sliced in perfect thin pieces, some spiced walnuts, and some apple sliced just so. The cheese portions were acceptable, but, definitely on the smaller side of what was expected. But, it was a great plate nonetheless. As we ate our cheese and drank our bubbles the clouds rolled in as they do every afternoon during NOLA summers and we darted inside as it began to rain.
Now inside in the great little porch like front seating area we decided since it was rainy outside we would prolong our stay get more wine and more food and just enjoy. We ordered a carmenere, steak bruschetta, and some goose fat fries. Everything was so delicious. The steak was cooked rare and was tender and easy to bite which can be a problem with bruschetta and was delicious with the herb spread on the crusty french bread. The fries were also amazing, super crisp with nice flaky sea salt on them. They came with garlic mayo and a asian inspired peanut sauce both of which I enjoyed very much.
Overall this was the PERFECT wine bar experience and I cannot wait to go back. Great for a nice casual date full of conversation, delicious food, and of course tasty wine.
I had no idea I'd not reviewed the Delachaise. It is one of my favorite places to hang out both with friends and alone. I have spent many a Saturday afternoon having a glass of Chianti, reading a good book, and listening to the hiss and pop of the streetcars wobbling down the Avenue. I have also spent many an evening having a lovely converstaion with a great friend or friends. The wine selection by the glass is pretty good, by the bottle better. The food is very interesting and very tasty. My favorite menu items are the cheese plate, flank steak bruschetta, frog legs, and pomme frites. I can't say I'm a big fan of the eggplant cannolis which sound better than they taste nor of the mussels which are overpowered by too much citrus and what I seem to remember was lemongrass. And  I will say that lately I find the dishes not executed as well as they used to be. Of course, that could just be the New Orleanian in me--nothing is as good as it used to be. Regardless, it is still one of my go to places.
Review Source:Ahhh yes, Delachaise has become one of my favorites places to hang out for a glass of wine. Â I absolutely love the relaxed environment and not to mention the great music! Â Kudos to whoever makes the playlist! Â I've been here 3-4 times with different friends, and it never fails to disappoint. Â The steak frites dish is such a good deal at $28 for a rather large steak (actually very well marinated and juicy!) and their famous duck fat pommes frites! Â Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! Â And of course I had to try their desserts! Â Their chocolate souffle is DELISH! Â If only they served it with vanilla ice cream; I'd be over the moon! Â But beware, it does take a while to come out, so order early! Â I've also tried their pistachio creme brulee, and that too was amazing! Â I love that Delachaise's desserts aren't overly sweet and heavy. Â Both desserts I tried were actually fairly light and was the perfect end to an already delicious and satisfying meal. Â And of course! Â You can't just go to Delachaise without ordering a bottle of wine! Â They offer such a large selection that it can be overwhelming. Â Don't hesitate to ask the bartenders for some recommendations. Â If you love Riesling as much as I do, they offer Dr. Herman has quickly become one of my favorites: sweet, crisp, and refreshing! Â Don't worry, their red wine selection is also superb!
A few tips: it can be really loud and crowded on the weekends so just be prepared! Â You do have to order at the bar, but they bring the food to you. Â If you want to avoid the crowd, come a little earlier or later or just come on a weekday. Â It's a fabulous place to unwind after a long day.
Cool atmosphere, feels very European, right down to the stern service, ha ha. The food was extremely good, I could not stop eating it!! We ordered several plates to share. The pommes frites fried in duck fat (or goose fat) are so crispy, they are exactly to my taste. The malt vinegar aioli is my crack!!! The Thai peanut dipping sauce is good too.
Our cheese plate had a nice array of cheddar, manchego, gouda and honey goat cheese. The honey goat cheese was to die for! I have got to find out where else I can get this locally. Next time I am going to get an order of that just for myself!
The olive plate was scrumptious and paired perfectly with my champagne cocktail. My friend ordered the steak bruschetta. It was not one of my faves but she loved it.
I'm looking for an excuse to go back as soon as possible!
My wife really enjoys this spot, and I think it's good, too. But not really great.
First things first, though: the selection! Other than the superb location along Saint Charles Ave, the selection of alcohol and interesting foods has to be Delachaise's most redeeming quality. My wife and I have had small plates, appetizers, and even a steak and fries there. All were very tasty. My wife likes to experiment with her drinks to a certain extent, and Delachaise doesn't disappoint.
If you like an upscale crowd, this is your place. Polo shirts literally everywhere (even on the staff) and more short skirts and dresses than you can find anywhere else other than Bourbon or a beach wedding (per square foot). This is a place where people come to see and be seen. You can pretty much tell as soon as you walk in the door. If you walk in with your own sense of style - especially if it's trendy - you will (at least briefly) receive all eyes. So "dress to impress" is my suggestion.
The bar itself is surrounded by windows, but the lights are kept especially low at night. Look for the "christmas" lights along the eaves and railings when approaching from the street.
The biggest drawback to this place, I think, is the method of service. There is, technically, table service. But it's not the usual sort. You have to jostle (literally) other patrons at the bar or guess which line of people (on a busy night) is going to move you to the bar first. You only order food standing at the bar, then you get to fight against everyone else in the place for a table. One of the two times were there, my wife and I got literally the worst (and last) table out on the porch. I kept getting bumped by people going by - and I was trying my best to stay out of the way (I'm 5-10, 180, usually not big enough to be in anybody's way).
If they would add a hostess stand and normal table service (at least on their busy nights) this place would be among the best in town. But until they do, you should be prepared to get elbowed out of the way by some thick-headed brute in a poorly chosen polo shirt at least 50% of the time you try to place an order for anything ... which of course, must be done at the bar.
The atmosphere is perfect here. Â The food is great and the endless list of alcoholic choices is great. Â Big complaint here is that the service is consistently terrible. Â It's almost as if the servers think you should be so grateful to be graced with their presence. Â Constantly having to wait 15+ minutes to order a drink and rude table side service. Â However, because of the atmosphere and menu, I keep going back.
Review Source:This has become one of my favorite places in the city.
Since my review over 2 years ago, I have tried much of the food, a lot of the wine and some of the beer. Delachaise is the perfect little bistro when you want to enjoy a night out, but you don't want to get overly fancy.
My favorites on the food menu are the gourmet grilled cheese and the cheese plate. I have tried many cheeses on the cheese plate and I've always been delighted by my choices. The gourmet grilled cheese is to die for. It's so rich that you can pretty much split it with a friend.
I really like the seating area by the window, and it's always a perfect night when I am lucky enough to grab this limited spot. Sitting on the patio is perfect for early evening as the sun begins to set and the night winds down.
There is an extensive wine selection so you are sure to find something that suits your tastes.
Great Fries. Horrible bartender. Â I have been 3 times in the last 3 years, and each time someone from my group ends up arguing with the the same arrogant bartender. Â Once he even threatened to call the police. Â This is the only place in the city that I encourage friends not to go to.
Only visit if you are interested in attempting to get served by the RUDEST bartender in the city.
Absolutely WORST service I have ever had a restaurant. After waiting for about an hour for the last member of our party to get her food, she asked the waiter to check on it. Â He looked at our tickets and said everything would have been made together, so we must not have gotten it. Â In response, the member of our group told him if her food hadn't been made to just not make it, to which the waiter responds "thanks". Â No apology whatsoever for my friend not getting her food. Â
The waiter comes back out a few minutes later and said that what she ordered had been made and brought out, and he looks at another member of our party who ordered the same thing and says, "he ate your food". Â At this point, our whole party is livid, and the member of our party goes into the bar to figure it out and it turns out the bartender never put in his food order. Â
The restaurant messed up, and made no acknowledgement of this mess up, nor offered any condolence or solutions to the problem. Â The group left angry and one of us left hungry from not getting dinner.
And to comment on the food, the fries were good and the grilled cheese was not.
This is mainly a wine place but the Goat can drink his vodka here and they make very good vodka drinks. Â They don't have good Vegan food here and everything is covered or fried in goose or duck fat or cheese plates. Â Very many kind and wholesome good looking women seem to frequent this place and Goat is sure they would appreciate more wholesome good Vegan options to make their hearts happy and blood pressure low and avoid all the obese diabetic unhealthy diet of too much unhealthy food eaten in mass quantities. Â Be happy like the Goat and have wine and vodka but watch out for the food that isn't the Vegan feast! Â Two girls got very drunk and spilled their champagne on the Goat here and teased him about not wanting to share their cheese or goose fries. Â The Goat does NOT do the Goose Step!!!
Review Source:Delachaise has so much potential to be a really amazing bar and restaurant. It is sad that they do not take advantage of their wonderful location on St Charles Ave. Â I have visited them several times over the past years and each time I get the same impression, waisted potential.
The service is hit or miss. The wine list is extensive, but when asked about certain qualities of their offerings I was brushed off and left to "fend for myself". As far as any drinks other than wine, forget it. They aren't even willing to think outside of the wine box and make a great mixed drink. Wine bar or regular bar,it is still a bar and should offer at least a fun speciality drink, it can involve wine.
I will say that the food was very good. Nice flavoring and pairings of ingredients. The cheese platter is always a fun one to order and duck grease fries are devilishly delicious.
The atmosphere leads much to be desired. The furniture needs updating, some of the seats where loose. The arrangement did not lend well to large groups. I guess if its dark enough and you have had a few drinks it all sort of becomes a blur. Be wary of the bathroom, its not the cleanest.
At the end of the day most of these things could be over looked if the personel where a bit more welcoming. In particular, the French man behind the bar as well as some of the other staff reflected no interest in our group's business. For this reason we will find a better place where we fell welcomed.
If you are looking for customer service look else where. The bar tender and bar backs are extremely rude. I refuse to go back. Last night was my third time there and I wanted to give it another chance. I will say it is consistent.... Consistent in that the bar tenders are not friendly, helpful or even happy to be working there.
Review Source:I took a couple out-of-towners here on a Wednesday night around 12. It was not crowded, service was fairly fast, and we found a comfortable booth to sit and chat. We had sazeracs, as it was on my list of "must-try NOLA drinks" for my friends, but I wish we had tried something else as well. They didn't seem to be a specialty, so looking back it seems silly for us to only get these. But they were strong, so I guess that was a plus. My friend was a vegetarian so she had the eggplant dish and it was...meh.
This was definitely a classier place than I am used to going, which is fine if you're into that kind of thing, but I'm not a huge fan. I prefer divier places where everyone has had a few too many and talks to complete strangers for 45 minutes and forgets their names. This place didn't have that vibe.
I think I will try to go back sometime and sit on the patio...it seemed really cute and cozy.
I've always been a fan of Delachaise. It's a cozy little nook. Best variety cheese plate in the city IMO. Great parings and the specialty waiters actually know what they're talking about with the cheese delivery. I've been several times and ordered different types of cheese. I'm not a "stinky" cheese fan but have a girlfriend that is, she ordered an "extra stinky" cheese plate. Meh... My preference is the milder flavored creamy ones and the waiters are happy to help you choose. Love the small plates, steak is a fave. Pomme frittes are excellent. Some people love their grilled cheese sandwiches. They're okay.
Seating can be a challenge, especially with groups but standing really isn't a problem. Service has always been good, even when busy. Sometimes it's hard to get waited on at the bar if you're 2 or 3 people deep, but if you cozy up to a seated guest, they usually help you out. Outdoor seating is nice in cool weather or they have umbrellas to keep you from melting in the heat, otherwise stay inside.
Parking is in the street, may have to walk a few blocks on a busy night. Guys, be a hero, drop her off at the door if she's wearing heels... thankkksss
Wine Bar. Â Great atmosphere. Â I actually went here 2 nights in a row. Â The plates are well presented, even if the service was a little slow. Â Had the Pate du Jour (pork & shiitake mushroom) which was served with pickled onions and green tomatoes. Â How different from gherkins! Â But still excellent. Â Then had the Mussels in a Thai broth with the duck fat fries. Â The fries were very tasty, but barely detected a difference between that and another high quality oil. Â The mussels were a different flavor profile then what I'm used to with shellfish (either buttery OR tomato based). Â Good heat and a clean flavor. Â I saw 2 cheese plates go by and will definitely be trying those. Â There is indoor and outdoor seating. Â This is a perfect date-nite place to go. Â I will be going back and my goal is to try everything on the menu!
Review Source:Wow a true gem! Luckily our first night in Nola we were staying at the Hubbard Mansion (check my profile to see my review!) across the street. I found Delachaise through the Nola Eater 38. Our first night in town we decided to start things off with a little cheese plate and some wine. I love the ambiance of this place. Unfortunately the weather wasn't quite warm enough to sit outside, but looks like the little seating area there would be lovely and a nice night. We got a cozy spot though inside and ordered some delicious glasses of wine.
We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we ended up staying here for a couple hours even though our intention was to just do a stop in before heading to Frenchman street. We couldn't tear ourselves away though, just soaking up the scene and some delightful Basque wine. The reason why I am giving this 4 stars and not 5, is because I wasn't blown away by the cheese. We may be partially to blame for that, perhaps we just didn't order correctly, but we only really loved one cheese. Although the hot bread it came with was wonderful.
Well worth a stop if you are in the area, and if you are not, worth going out of your way!
Somehow until recently I have never actually eaten here- which makes me realize I have been missing out! I like the vibe this place gives off and I never fail to have a great time catching up with friends.
Started off with a nice wine and a cheese place- was not disappointed! The mussels were also very good and quite a large portion, definitely enough for a meal. I had a special - I can't quite remember the name, but it was gnocchi. And oh my it was delicious! Served with a red sauce and some slow cooked pork goodness. If this is being offered again, I highly recommend!
It isn't a dive. And it ain't a speakeasy. This bar is a more romantic variety, which is always nice. Who doesn't need a bit of romance in their life? What goes better together than romance and drinking? :) It isn't lowly and depraved, you see, because it is bathed in the nostalgic glow of a a Parisian "bar au vin" except that one finds this little alcove on St. Charles Avenue with the Street car passing by in the window. Midnight in Paris, move over because La Delachaise is the sort of NOLA bar where stories happen, classy stories, people!, where random encounters turn into lifelong friends and persistent lovers, where your dreams become a slightly twisted version of their original Disneyesque intentions, enabled by the lubricant of peaty 12 year old scotch.
The interior decor is somewhere between French cafe and boxcar, and with a bit of light and a bit of class, and the grand avenue with the grand southern mansions just outside, an altogether winning combination, and all in all a real swell place to have a drink.
If you want to get drunk, and you want it to be lovely, and do not give a $&%$ how much it is gonna cost you, or if you want to find a corner table with dim lighting, and shift your friendship into romance, La Delachaise is alright. Â You feel kinda embarrassed even bringing up the issue of price when talking about an establishment as soulful as this one. I mean the rent along St. C can't be cheap, and you want, need DLC to survive, now don't you? Cuz Columns down the block has already been invaded by the devil. Maybe DLC has been invaded too.
But when I asked what kind of scotch I should order, it stimulated a conversation all along the bar, barmen joining in to offer the last word. You see, they have a heck'of a collection. If you come alone, don't worry, because with a bit of effort, you'll make friends easily enough. The patrons and the waitstaff are friendly although the latter is occasionally out-gunned, overrun by the natives, and by the tourists who seem to trickle in from the nearby hotels... sigh. Last time we were there, we got real friendly with some group who had come in to NOLA from Austin to give their buddy a big send off before le marriage.
Speaking of French, they have a great winelist. Besides, La Delachaise is an institution, a refuge from the storm for any uptown Mardi Gras, parade when this little beautiful box of a bar seems even more like Heaven. One of the most romantic bars in NOLA . . . idn't it? Â Plus, their French fries and other delices are awesome (although slightly over price). Location, location, location. You are paying for that and the vibe, but at LA DLC it is kinda worth it?
Mussels in broth happens to be something that I feel I MUST get if it's on a menu at a well-acclaimed restaurant. Usually the broth is crack. I have experienced this and written about my mussel-broth-crack addiction in two previous reviews, and I was looking for a fix. Delachaise provided me with the opportunity and I took it, guns a blazing, tiny mussel fork in hand, waiting to suck down some serious shellfish and broth crack. WELL, their broth was so sodium-laden I could not get through it. It actually got caught in my throat when I tried to use the bread to soak it up (one of my favorite pastimes). Ouch. This makes me sad.
Overall, the experience is ok-- everyone raves about the fries, they're fries-- you know? Tasty fries. The prices are pretty extravagant for the lack of friendly service and the fighting over tables you have to do. I'm just extra judgey because I didn't get my fix and you know how the jones' make ya bitchy. Thus, mussels, I'm looking for you elsewhere... may your broth be salty but not to the point where I feel like I'm going to shrivel up like a snail.
This place is great, loved it - the service? Not so much. The rudeness level totally killed it for me.
After hours on a plane I was in desperate need food and drink - literally dying. I was happy to find this place. Warm, intimate, extensive wine and spirits menu displayed on chalkboards, tons of hipster couples - reminded me of home. Loved the vibe.
The bottle of tempernillo was great, but it started to go downhill from there. You have to order everything from the bar, food included, and the customer service was severely lacking.
They were out of the ingredients for the salad nicoise. life = ending, as i had my heart set on their amazing nicoise.
Ordered the foie gras du jour instead and it tasted as unappetizing as it looked. Tough, over-salty, deemed unedible by the entire table.
When ordering the basic Delachaise salad that I unfortunately had to settle on, I was told they wouldn't add anything to it, period ---- Annoying. I asked the (rude) bartender woman twice to please toss the dressing with the salad... It was the least they could do, but it came untossed.. oh well, no big deal..
The plain delachaise salad was actually quite good for what it lacked in variety of ingredients  - the dressing was so-so, but the combination of flavors pleased my jet-lagged tastebuds.
Unianimous decision - "we should have ordered the duck fat fries," which seriously looked AMAZING and smelled mouth-wateringly good... my body was literally aching watching poeple devour them.
Spent the rest of the meal downing Jameson and wine. If it weren't for the bad service, running out of ingredients, and the staff's poor recommendations, I'd probably go back.
Probably won't...
Sweet, sweet, sweet mother of God. Not only is the food good, the drink priced right, and the selection fantastic, but my god in heaven! The service! Any of these fools on here that say anything (ANYTHING!) about the poor service obviously has never seen Josh Hall in action. Don't know Josh Hall? Not my problem; you my friend, are missing out. To high-five Josh Hall is like high-fiving sunshine (without the 3rd degree burns). Every time I go there it's like that time I went to Seaworld and got a blowjob from Shamu. No joke (and long story). Go to Delachaise and give Josh and friends all your money. And quit bitching about no table service you baby; this is New Orleans, and you're obviously an asshole.
Review Source:Really good food with an excellent wine and solid beer selection make for a break from the normal. The best food options are the pate du jour, the flank steak bruschetta and of course the duck fat fries. They also have really good daily specials. The wine list really is the star here, with choices from all over the globe accommodating any size of wallet. An eclectic beer selection and full bar are available for the non vinophiles.
The only complaint I have here is that it often is really crowded, making seating difficult with not much space to wait. Also, be advised, there is no table service - you order everything at the bar and they bring it to you. I like this personally, as you can take your time, and it makes for fewer people occupying the aforementioned lack of space.
While on a weekend jaunt in NOLA I was staying around the corner from this place and popped in on the recommend of a friend.  Good thing I did.  Great place, the adult beverage menu is EXTENSIVE, the food was REALLY good especially the steak and the offerings diverse  which is a real surprise for bar food .  The vibe was reminiscent of Williamsburg.  The only down side to this place is you have seat yourself and its mucho packed so if you are travelling with a big group like I was then give up hope of being seated together and take the every-man for himself approach.
NOTE: Â This is a bar not a restaurant so if you go in there with this frame of mind you will appreciate its offerings..
OH and one more thing.. THE FRIES... good god almighty, I think its fried with voodoo potatoes it was so good. Â I missed it when I got home...sigh!
Great food, amazing drinks, nice bartenders, but the music and crowd absolutely blooooooows.
Dumb upper 20's/early 30's lawyer types trying to avoid the ridiculously over dressed, wedding ring chasing bobble heads to the soundtrack of Jimmy Eat World and Matisyahu.
Luckily, if you go with a large enough group of chainsmokers, you can take over the outdoor patio.
I am kind of upset with myself now that I realized I've never written a review of this place. It is by far my favorite bar in New Orleans for a few reasons:
1 - It's romantic. I am a hopeless romantic. A sweet young lady just waiting to be swept of her feet by Prince Charming. So yes, I like the dim lights, narrow and close atmosphere, sexy music and a wall full of wines.
2- The food is delicious. Not that you should indulge in a huge meal here, but the plates are a great size to share for a snack.
3 - Wines. Wines. Wines. Galore. Their wine list is quite extensive. I'll admit, I do not know a WHOLE lot about wines, but I know what I like and what I don't.
4- Indoor and outdoor seating. Oh New Orleans, how I love you so, but the weather that you offer is not the best for my easy-to-frizz-hair. 9 out of 10 times I sit inside, but when the weather is good, like in the fall or the beginning of winter, the outside tables are nice.
My heart is taken at the moment, and I hope it stays that way. But if any guy every wants to put a huge smile on my face... take me to Delachaise.... then sweep me off my feet :)
Indeed, my wallet weeps when I hit up the Delachaise but it is always totally worth it.
A few industry foodie-friends raved about this wine bar and I was always convinced that it wouldn't be for me, when we arrived I was convinced. Â Whether outside on the patio, chatting up the bartender at the bar or having an intimate conversation in the U-shaped street-car replica seating beneath the Christmas lights, I secretly ponder if I started paying rent would just let me live there in the beautiful atmosphere?
They have a fantastic wine list, if you know anything about wine but they also have a great selection of cocktails, mixed drinks and beers to make any sort of drinker happy. Â And the FOOD... the frog legs call to me! Â I crave them on the regular..
And ahem, to guarantee a good time... try the "Black Bubbles" (Shinglebock). Â It will not disappoint :)
Nice place to just relax and have a well made drink. Â The bartenders are great, the location is perfect. Â Not a place to end a night, more like an early night rendezvous that was too good to leave. The crowd is very awkward to describe. Every one keeps to themselves and their own conversation, but you feel like your somewhere thats great for casual mingling and conversing about the wine, cheese, and mutual friends. Â Â
Its a bar if it has a pool table, and this place is the last place that would have one, which I love about it. I know that this place will never change. This place has character, sex appeal, the perfect first date. Â Its more of a wine lounge, with great upper scale snacks of cheese, and chess, chess, and frog legs. Its a whole different experience that you should really give a try. Not a place to party, but a place to enjoy some company of others.
Only one thing I have to say about this place : Pomme Frittes!
Fried in duck fat and served with two different sauces : Peanut asian inspired sauce is my favorite. I know its a $8 but believe me its worth it.
* Note: You have to order @ bar. They will deliver to your table.
Also, if you are with a big group don't expect to be served at the same time.
Classy. Cute stand alone intimate restaurant. Â Outdoor seating with romantic string lights hung up. Â
What I like about this restaurant: great wine selection scrawled across hanging chalk boards, kitchen is open late, and the bar food comes in smaller portions (which I love) and it's, like, "fine" bar food. Â This was the first place I've ever eaten frog legs which were lightly battered and fried and I thoroughly enjoyed them!
Sometimes it's a bit hard to get a seat which is a bummer. Not the end of the world, though.
I love bars and restaurants with a view of the street. I can't explain why, other than I like to sit and watch people and things. Delachaise is a bar where you can do just that.
On a recent night out in the city, a friend suggested this bar. I have passed it numerous times wondering how it was, so I was glad to finally check it out.
We sat at the bar and ordered some $5 red. After a little while at the bar, we moved outside. While I really enjoyed the patio area, I think my drinking companion preferred the bar.
The outside area has a great view of St. Charles Ave and the convenience store next door. All kinds of characters go in and out of the convenience store which makes for interesting viewing. At one point we though a robbery may have been going down, but it ended up just being a figment of our imagination.
I did enjoy this bar and will gladly return later. Maybe next time I can try the food and write a more thorough review update.
Great place to hang out and catch up with friends. Very cozy tight fitting inside, but outside is a little more roomy and nice when the weather permits.
Good wine selection. Good cheese selection to go with that wine.
If you want some bites to share you must get an order of the fries fried in goose fat served with 2 fancy sauces, one of which is not ketchup...I know, right? It gets crazy.
I've had other dishes and all were pleasantly good!
I would recommend Delachaise for happy hour, pre-dinner or after dinner drinks.
