If you're looking for a casual evening and conversation with friends, Delizios should be at the top of your list.

I'd start out with a bottle of wine - I mean... it's a wine bar so you have to go for a bottle right? Especially if they've got live music going like they did the night I was there you'll want to just sit back and work your way through the bottle, or maybe two?

Foodwise you should definitely get the cheese tray - theirs is top notch and has some really interesting cheeses and other elements you don't see on your everyday one. Then you can go one of two routes: you can order a bunch of tapas and do a sharing thing at the table, or everybody can order form the list of entrees. My recommendation is to go the tapas route - last time I was there I had the salmon, which was flavorful and light but not as strong of a dish as some of the tapas I've had.

I have had food here from Brunch to lunch to just coffee, I have to say its just average food here. The food is good but nothing spectacular. I feel this place is half assed if you will, kind of sloppy. Last two times have been sort of a joke. The coffee, well the cappuccino's are mediocre and too big to be honest. The coffee had no depth to it. It was too light. Not a lot of flavor. Not impressed.
As far as the service, it tends to shotty. Never know what to expect but lately it's been crappy.
So, I think this will be the last time we spend our money here. Just not worth it.

Don't let the "Tapas" category fool you.  It's by no means a tapas bar.  It has a short "tapas" menu which is just a standard appetizer menu.  The salad and entree menu are just as long.
That being said, it's still a good restaurant.  My friend and I got the "picnic platter" from the tapaps menu which is just an assortment of cheeses and cold-cuts.  Half were flavorful, half were bland.  We followed that up with the strawberry walnut salad which was simple, but good.  I was very glad they didn't drown the salad with dressing like most places nowadays.  Finally, we split the Beef Bourguignon.  The Gnocchi accompanying it was rather good, and the beef was fine.
The wine selection was good, and the waiter's recommendation was excellent.
All in all, a good restaurant to try.

Went here on Fathers day for brunch.   Food was very good but they were completely understaffed,    We waited over 45 minutes to be served (for brunch!) and not once did we get refills on our drinks.    Willing to give it another try due to the food quality, however. If the service was better, I would add another star.

Loved it before but pretty disappointed on this visit.
    Coffee tasted like warm milk.
    No service.
    Cracked glass.
$12.50 for a bad cup of coffee, a tiny dish of great ice cream, and a bottle of iced tea.
    Less than I expected.

The charm and warmth wasn't there this time.  :(

    How disappointing.

Here's a good tip:  Come to Delizios now - because when everyone figures out how good it is, it's going to get busy.

I've been here a few times since the new chef arrived with the new year and the food is terrific!

Lunch is a walk in proposition right now so don't wait.

The cranberry walnut is fantastic as is the Sicily Panini.  I've had a couple of other items and the half and half is a great way to try 2 at once.

One more tip:  get the soup.  Just add it to whatever you're already planning to order.  Each time it's a pleasantly surprising twist on what is usually a common dish - corn chowder, potato soup ... yum!

So delicious!  We stopped in on a whim after searching breakfast spots in the area on Yelp.  We were so excited that there wasn't a wait, 9 am on a Saturday morning is  typically an hour plus wait at any breakfast joint.  We were pleasantly surprised that the menu looked amazing and the service was great too.  I will definitely be telling all of my friends and family about this little spot!

I've been to Delizio's for breakfast, dessert, and as of last night, dinner, so I feel fully confident with the five star rating I'm giving them.

The dinner menu is relatively new, and while the entrees are a little pricey, I was won over by the paninis and flatbreads.  When I looked at the menu before going to dinner, I already knew what a would order (which is a rare occasion!)  I ordered a turkey panini with pesto, red peppers, and lots of cheese.  I almost joined the clean plate club.

Even though we were all too full, we ordered dessert anyway.  We got the toffee mousse chocolate cake-something my husband and I have had before.  It was just as delicious the second time around, and we both decided it was better than the flourless chocolate cake he ordered the last time we were there.

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind place with a great atmosphere- love it!

Great restaurant. Really great good. The very best service. We have been here several times and we love the relaxed mood of the restaurant. What is really nice is Allen server/manager always remembers us. It is very nice to be a repeat guest and have them remember you. The food is always a beautiful presentation. Lots of options. Great wine menu. Delizios has become one of our favorites thanks to Allen and the great food.

Nice patio. Great place for a summer evening. Good service. Inexpensive wine flights, with fairly good food.

Great "looking" menu.   But the food was OK- nothing outrageous.  It has a cool outdoor patio that is nice and some of the Tapas were pretty good, but nothing outstanding on the menu.  Maybe it was the service that really put the bad taste in our mouth, as we waited up front for someone to acknowledge us while a waitress walked right by without acknowledging us.....and they werent even that busy.

I've been here several times for coffee and a breakfast burrito - both always satisfy.  Today's stop was for a flatbread and salad.  It amazes me what comes out of this kitchen.  They hit everything on my checklist - spotless - check, friendly waitstaff - check, great food - check, awesome bloody mary - check (it was after noon somewhere), Goldilocks patio - check.  See you guys again soon.

this is one of my all time favorite "go to"places.  I love the patio and the food is wonderful!  I can make a meal out of the cheese plate appetizer!  great wine selection too.  sometimes the service has something to be desired, but this is not a place i go to when i am in a hurry, since i like to take my time and enjoy anyway!  love it!!

Based on the reviews I was expecting more, I don't know what exactly but more.

The service was okay, the food was okay but there wasn't a WOW factor.

We stood at the entry for a few minutes before we were greeted.  She explained that she had just gotten there and seemed to be in some sort of whirlwind running here and there and everywhere.  Since it was a wonderful evening we sat on the patio - the sun was behind the building and it was getting a tad cool but still nice.  I really liked the patio seating.  There were more people sitting on the patio than outside, which is a good sign as they don't seem to forget you as much.

Our waitress was the same person who greeted us at the door.  After a bit she seemed to have a more calm presence about her and not so frantic.  But did seem a bit put-out when I deviated from the standard menu items.

I ordered the Chicken Basquaise with a mixed green side salad added and my husband, the French Dip Sandwich.  The sandwiches was $12 but it was very dry and didn't have a lot of meat on it.  I understand that it is a dipping sandwich but it just didn't look appetizing.  He thought that it was okay.

so if I'm going to pay $16 for chicken then I expect it to be really good or that you are going to get the double breast not just one side.  The sauce was nice and spice and had a lot of flavor.  The chicken not so much as it didn't have a lot of flavor.  I'm not all-together convinced that this was actually simmer it was more like the chicken was cooked and then the sauce was added to the top.  I opted for no cilantro-lime rice and asked for extra vegetable (hence the put-out for non-standard items).

As we were leaving everyone on the way out, at the front of the house, thanked us for coming in and wished us a good evening.  It was a nice way to leave.

We had a delightful breakfast here once before. The standard drip was served in such a way as to make it seem a fine espresso and Bob and his wife were delightful. We returned only to have our expectations exceeded once again. It was a quiet Monday lunch, but the service was fantastic and we were licking our lips at each item: the Provence and Abuzzo paninis with a solid and delicious Bloody Mary and iced coffee on the side. We raved and enjoyed, and Bob topped it off with a gelato trio of salted caramel, chocolate, and creme brûlée. The patio is fantastic on a sunny day. Bring your shades, take in some Vitamin D and exceptional food and service. I wish the owners the very best, since they clearly care about their corner spot on Main Street. We'll be back.

I just can't get enough of this place.  The atmosphere is cozy and the service is always friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm not a food snob BUT I like to get what I pay for and Delizios has it perfect.  If you're looking to take a deep breath during your crazy day OR to just get a quick cup of coffee, you got to try this place.

I still haven't had a chance to stop in after the sun goes down to try the wide variety of wine and other drinks, but this place is absolutely on our list.

A jam packed Friday night in downtown Littleton and we arrived at Delizios. Love the atmosphere; quaint and cozy, plus the outdoor area is awesome for the summer. Will need to come back just to have a cocktail outside! All that aside, the service was friendly but it seemed like there was only one server so getting her attention was a challenge. She came right over though after assisting others so she did a great job. I had the chicken picatta rollatini over linguine. That was yummy with the flavors but you could tell that the chicken had been sitting awhile from prep and was dry and a little chewy. My hubby had the chorizo over polenta and that most certainly had a kick to it! Good wine and cocktail list....a good place for downtown Littleton and will return to give it another try for improvement.

Huge portions for the price of very tasty food. I had the Burgundy sandwich with fruit as my side and my husband and I split the house salad. The fruit was way bigger than a side and had cantelope, watermelon, 2 kinds of grapes, and strawberries. The salad was very tasty and they brought out each of our halves in separate bowls. Everything was so good, and the staff was so nice. It is a great place to bring your family and even better on a nice day out on the patio.

Another welcome addition to downtown Littleton! The last time we were there, for a weekday lunch, we had the French Dip, Italian Wedding Soup, Tuscany Panini, and a Quiche.  All meals were delicious and served in a timely fashion by a courteous server. It wasn't busy, so it was relatively quiet at our indoor table, which is unusual for that place, with all its hard surfaces. We enjoy walking by, and seeing folks huddling around the patio fireplace in the winter. Would be nice to have a legal place where our little dog could lie, so we could stop by for lunch on our walks.

Thirty bucks for some green tomatoes, badly reduced balsamic, and wine with shards of ice in it? Nah.

Good location, friendly service, but the food was lame and expensive.  I was turned off by the bottles of purchased "dessert sauce" on the counter.

really!? this place has 4 1/2 stars?? littleton and fellow yelpers, i'm disappointed in your standards. if this place rates it's full 4 1/2 stars then the other options in littleton must taste like frozen ass.

so here's the story of my visit to delizio's; we were shopping in the area and not knowing any of the eating establishments around we turned to yelp for guidance. this place, having the aforementioned 4 1/2 stars sounded like a great option.

first impressions were pretty good. it's a cute place. We looked over the menu and decided on what to get. Our waitress came back and we ordered the stuffed mushrooms without bacon on top as an app, my dining partner ordered a caesar salad and french onion soup and i ordered the vegetarian lasagna which the waitress comments on as being her favorite thing on the menu. Great, off to a good start.

After a while i overhear another waitress telling her table that they are out of mushrooms (at 7 p.m.) Wth? the mushrooms are a part of your special 5280 menu and you're out of them at 7 p.m. on a saturday night? that's not exactly the best pre-planning. Anyway, our waitress comes over, assumes we had overheard the other waitress and says, "you're in the same boat." no apology, not professional courtesy of actually talking to us about their lack of mushrooms. She asks if we would like anything else and we decline since nothing else sounded that great as an app. later she brings out the caesar salad and onion soup. she sets the onion soup in front of me, i push it across to my partner, so she sets the caesar in front of me which i also push in front of my partner. She says, "enjoy" and walks away.  i'm left without my lasagna and an empty glass of water for a long time. slowly getting more and more irritated as my dining partner eats her food and i'm sitting with nothing. at least i'm not settled with the caesar that came out with brown lettuce.

finally, our waitress comes back with the check and tells us that she has removed the mushrooms and not to worry about it and asks how everything is, so i ask about my lasagna which she replies super surprised "oh, it's coming right out." are you effing kidding me!? she had commented that it was her favorite freakin dish and she forgot to put my order in and assumed that the failed attempt at mushrooms meant i wasn't eating!?!? seriously terrible service. my water finally gets refilled.

my lasagna comes out several minutes later and it's not even that hot but i don't care because i'm super freakin hungry at that point. well, it's wasn't that great and tasted a little off. she really didn't even apologize for forgetting my food entirely and practically ignored us the rest of the time except for the time she asked if my lasagna was hot enough. she and i both knew it wasn't because she rushed the cook after she failed to put my order in trying to save face.

i will never go back to this place and horrible service aside, the food just wasn't that great at all. lasagna tasted only as good as the kind you can find in the frozen food aisle and the caesar salad had brown lettuce throughout it. lame.

I have stopped in to Delizios a couple of times for coffee. I had the pleasure of being served by the owner -- which says a lot about the integrity of the establishment itself! I was impressed that he was willing to do everything from being a barista to ringing up our order.

The coffee has been consistently good. Try the mocha or white mocha -- you won't be disappointed!

The ambiance is great, and there are many places to have private conversation.

My only complaint, and it is minor, is that on one occasion on a Wednesday afternoon, a female employee greeted us and asked how many were in our party. We weren't interested in being seated for a meal, just for coffee to go. She seemed annoyed that she was being called upon to make coffee. Another reviewer remarked that perhaps employees need a bit more training -- and I would agree. In this job market, employers can raise the standard to hire nothing but the best.

Still, I find no reason to give less than 5 stars to Delizios, and hope that it sees many years of success.

The food was okay, but everything we ordered was drizzled in a semi-sweet balsamic vinegar glaze. The cheese/fruit plate, salads, and some pizza all had it. I liked it okay. Not mind-blowing, but not offensive. Just okay. With everything we ordered having this sauce, the food became very one-dimensional. Like they needed to learn a new trick or two.

    The service was fine.

There was an acoustic guitar player/singer doing covers of Eagles, James Taylor, and Jimmy Buffet tunes. This made me want to get out of there as fast as possible. It was painful.

I'll try it again at some point and see if my review improves somewhat. I wanted to like this place, but the music was the clincher.

I've been here only twice - once for a cup of soup and once for lunch.  Both times I sat out on the lovely comfortable patio, and it was so nice.  I tried the "half and half" lunch, ordering a cranberry, walnut, spinach and goat cheese salad and a chicken salad croissant.  Both were delicious, especially the salad.  The chicken salad croissant was a tad sweet for my taste since it also had cranberries in it, but it was fresh and well-prepared.  My friend got the house salad with field greens, bacon, apples and blue cheese, which was delicious but a little heavy on the bacon (never thought I'd say that!), and the croissant sandwich with turkey, havarti and avocado.  Her croissant sandwich was delicious!  It was lunchtime, so we didn't imbibe in any wine or cocktails, but the selection looked good.  We browsed the tapas menu and found several things that looked interesting and tasty.  Can't wait to try it in the evening for drinks and tapas.  A very nice addition to downtown Littleton.

In my opinion downtown Littleton has always been a hidden treasure. It's easy to drive thru the downtown area (on Main Street) on your way to Santa Fe (west) or Broadway (east). It would, however be a shame to miss all the these few blocks have to offer. Lots of small restaurants and shops and a nice little park on the east end to sit and enjoy a coffee.

When I was a kid, growing up in Denver, my parents would take my brother and I to a great old Mexican (tex-mex) restaurant on Main Street called The Family - which is apparently long gone - replaced by yet another tex-mex joint. At least the area is still thriving, which is more than you can say for some other small enclaves around town.

A recent addition to downtown Littleton is Delizios Wine Bar/Restaurant. We discovered it solely based on a Groupon offer ($25 for $50 on wine). Hey we occasionally like a good bottle of wine with a nice lunch - so we took our "groupon" down to check it out.

Less than I expected initially (I'm not sure why - perhaps because there were few people there for lunch and the staff seemed a bit scattered). We were thrilled to find a great patio overlooking Main Street and the small park. The Locust trees as well as several well-placed umbrellas kept us comfortable on a very hot 90+ degree afternoon. It's so nice to find a place with a great patio, especially since Denver is so "al fresco" challenged.

The French sparkling wine that we ordered was delicious and although it was not chilled enough, our server promptly brought us a chiller, without us having to ask.

Service - I give the service 5 stars for effort and 4 stars for implementation. Our server didn't know to pop the cork on our bubbly and although I do fault management for this, some of the blame must rest with the server - it's a WINE BAR for godssake...

The food - excellent! My spinach salad with goat cheese, walnuts, chicken and cranberries was on the the simplest yet best salads I've had in Denver. It was fresh and perfectly executed with just the right amount of each ingredient. The raspberry vinegrette was served on the side, which I prefer. The chicken had been poached which kept it moist and delicious. Well done.

I noticed that both the manager (who stopped by our table to say hello) and the owner were busily working on getting the restaurant ready for the Saturday night crowd (hopefully). I also overheard on of the servers telling the manager that she was excited about the number of people who had come in with their groupons.

I think that there are a few kinks that need to be worked out at Delizios but I looks like they are well on their way to becoming a successful addition to this great neighborhood.

We went to lunch here because of a Groupon and we are very happy that we did.

Let's start with the negatives because it would be so easy for Delizios to get to 5 stars.

    1. Management needs a dope-slap. Our [new to this "wine bar"] waiter did not how to open a bottle of bubbly. This was not HIS fault. This is directly the fault of management for NOT training him. He was good at the other waiter tasks, he just lacked knowledge.

    2. No free Wi-Fi. I was able to mooch off of Kelly's Irish Pub and use my iPhone (no data plan).

    3. The singular is "panino". I can only eat one sandwich so I prefer to order a panino and not many panini. Is "menu" Italiano that difficult to learn? Methinks not.

Now, on to the many positives.

    1. Food. Both salad and sandwich were delicious.

    a. The spinach, goat cheese, cranberry, walnut, chicken salad ($10.50) so good that even I might order it next time. And, I, as a true male, never order salad. Every ingredient was perfect. Candied cranberries and not Craisins®. Mild, yet tangy, goat cheese. Crisp spinach leaves without a single bad one in the bunch.

    b. Il Panino Siciliano era perfetto. All the flavors of bread, cheese, meat blending together in mouth-watering delightfulness. I am ready to order this again.

    2. Service. Friendly, attentive and competent. You can't ask for more. He did an excellent job of upselling us on a wine without being obnoxious about it.

    3. Atmosphere.

    a. OK, the patio is not perfect. Perfect would be replacing the street with the Mediterranean Sea. The locust tree provided perfect shade for me and I did not feel the need for the brolly that my wife was suggesting.

    b. The building is very charming. I think it was a gas station in a previous life and the transformation is very relaxing.

    Should you go?
Yes, you should as the food and wine are scrumptious.

They have some really friendly employees who go out of their way to be helpful and kind, and they have one or two who are less so.

On a recent visit in the afternoon on a weekday, my friend ordered decaf coffee but is certain the waitress gave her caffeinated because her heart condition was aggravated all afternoon and she couldn't sleep at night. This is really something the restaurant should take care about, it's not always a mere preference for people who order decaf, sometimes it's for health reasons.

I wish they had more dinner choices that were vegetarian or chicken. The prices seem a bit high. But it's a cute place. Very nice decor and atmosphere. We've been to Delizios many times and have only had a serious problem that one time, so I'm sticking with four stars.

I went back and had to upgrade my rating as it was a much better experience.  Service was fantastic and the food was delicious!  We split the margarita pizza and it was sooo good.  The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top was amazing!  We also split the cranberry walnut salad, which hit the spot and was a flavorful and light salad.  The patio is fabulous and I think Delizios is a great addition to Littleton.  Will definitely be back!!

Located at the east end of downtown Littleton, Delizios could soon become one of the area's best "date spots". While they serve coffee, cookies and other munchies during the day, it has a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings as it becomes a wine bar. Good assortment of wines and other tapas stuff. The flatbread and hummus combo is worth the trip alone. You could make it a dinner date, or just drop in for appetizers and wine before hitting another place.

The staff seemed a little too eager to satisfy us at times, but since it's a new establishment that's to be expected. I'm sure that, as the employees become comfortable with their roles, things will begin to mellow out. On weekend nights they plan to feature live music (jazz), so we definitely plan to return.

Delizios is located next to the overflow parking of the Littleton Light Rail stop, directly across from Bega Park. Street parking is available, but they also have three or four 30 minute parking spots on the side of the building.

We were here on a friday evening -- WOW -- the noise was absolutely deafening - i mean louder than campo in its heyday -- i mean LOUDLOUDLOUD -- like give you a headache loud -- i am a littleton local and want to support our local businesses -- and i will support this one too -- but they have to work on this room.  Food was OK -- not great, but they need a little time -- so be it.

If this is a wine bar, need a much broader wine list and the reds cannot be served warm.

Like the staff, like the patio (even tho it was pouring and we could not sit there), like the idea and the location, like the sweets. Hopefully they will correct the issues that exist now and turn this into a great new suburban gathering place.

We dropped $120 there last night, between the four of us. A few suggestions for management:

Good aesthetically, a nice room, as well as the patio.

A suggestion--staff needs to check inventory. Open only three weeks and out of stock?

Do not serve red wine at room temperature.  Sixty-six degrees.

The flat bread is not working. Tasteless and cardboard-like.

Do something about the sound in the room. Its deafening. It ruined the evening.

Mediocre food, a room that reverberates. If this were in Denver, it wouldn't last three months. In Littleton, it may just make it.

A warm & sophisticated bistro -- my wife & I really enjoyed grazing through their somewhat limited but appealing menu on a recent overcast day. We shared a few tasty panini & tapas (she also had a cranberry walnut salad). Can't remember the name but I really liked the ham/pear/bleu cheese panini and she the Florentine flatbread w/spinach & goat cheese. Although I'm mainly a microbrew guy (they have several), we enjoyed two wines recommended by the bartender: Michael David's "Petite Petit" and a (don't recall vintner) "Clayhouse" blend. Finished a few hours later with organic gelato, then hot, black coffee. Friendly, consistent service throughout.

Haven't been for breakfast but was offered samples of a chocolate-filled croissant and an organic butter cookie -- both were fresh & delicious. Found out they bake all their own pastry locally.

At times a little noisy inside, probably due to the hard floor, but that also gives it some energy and a bistro feel. Now that the weather's (sort of) settling down, we plan to come back on a nice day and enjoy the outside patio. A welcome addition to downtown Littleton!
