Over the past 5 years I have watched the Dew Drop Inn evolve into the fantastic little place it has become today...Jay and Kenna the owners, are fun-loving, imaginative people who strive to give their guests the very best experience imaginable. The atmosphere is funky and laid back, the staff is awesome and the wings are second to none. From crazy cocktails, to about a gazillion craft beers, to top shelf bourbons and scotches, you can get just about anything you want at the Dew Drop. I heartily suggest you try the Steak night....delicious, inexpensive and you will leave there with a full tummy, new friends and a desire to go back again and again. This place is a little jewel hidden away in Derby.
Review Source:had an amazing experience today at the dew drop......exceeded my expectations which I feel seldom happens.....place looks like a dive from the outside....inside it is clean, organized with a homey, friendly staff......wings were amazing....perfectly meaty, juicy and flavorful......the burger was amazing as well.....great craft beer....I believe 11 or so taps in total......exceeded my expectations all around....! will be back for sure...!
Review Source:What can you say about the Dew Drop? The staff is one of the nicest you'll find, with a great atmosphere and clientele. I'm forgetting something... oh yeah THE FOOD! This is the only place in the Valley I will go for wings, they're cooked right and their sauces are amazing! The burgers are always cooked the way you order them and have great variety in how you can order them, and TATER TOTS, they have tater tots!! Monday's are half price for wings and Thursday's is the Ribeye Steak night which you can't find in quality or price anywhere else around. If you're looking for great American Pub grub look no further than the Dew and feel free to Drop Inn!!
Review Source:At the Dew Drop Inn you feel like you are hanging out in your own living room, except it is cleaner, the food is better, you don't have to clean up, and you have lots of new friends. The place offers up an awesome vibe. The food is very down-home cooking, including the hands-down best tater tots on the planet! The prices are reasonable too. Â The number of taps dedicated to an impressive list of craft beers is as good as I have seen anywhere in CT. Â And, I haven't even gotten to the best part....
The service is wonderful. Â Our server, Leah, was kind, funny, responsive, informative and patient (when we asked nearly 100 questions about their ga-zillion different types of wings -- the dry cajun wings were my fave).
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I had a hard time parking.
Love, Love, Love the Dew! I've been coming to the Dew Drop for years and eat there regularly. The steak and wings are great, and they have a Kick Ass Chicken Wrap that's awesome. Jay and Kenna are great folks that aim to please and it shows! The quality of the food is great and it served up by an excellent staff. Keep up the good work guys!

Â I was envisioning bar fights, people spitting in my food, and a choice between regular and light beer. Â The reality was...
I walked in, was politely greeted by the bartender and offered any one of 16 craft beers on tap from brewery favorites like Founders and Stone. Â I started with the Lil' Bastard. Â They gave me a menu that was full of burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Â I ordered a No.7 BBQ chicken sammich. Â It came with onion rings and was supposed to be topped with some homemade slaw. Â The one ding I'm giving them is the fact that the sandwich came without said slaw... and that made me a little sad. Â Other than that, the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce was tangy and a little boozy and awesome, the rings were crispy and good, and I had no complaints as I had another of their 16 craft beers, Shipyard I think.
All in all it was a good stop, good food, good beer, and a good crowd.
Give the Dew a chance before overlooking them based on the one star.

What more can be said? Dew Drop is all around amazing. They keep great beer on tap unlike most other bars in the area who only offer a wide variety of bud light, miller lite, and other beers that taste pretty close to water.
Monday night is 1/2 price wings, and they are absolutely awesome! The Drop offers a large variety of different flavors, including some very unique ones such as Peanut Butter and Jelly! The wings are big and meaty! No skimpy crap here!!
Tuesday "home style" night features a different entree every week.
Thursday nights is their rib eye steak night! The steak always comes out cooked to perfection exactly as you ordered it, and comes with a side of mashed potatoes and honey glazed carrots. All for only $10.95!! for a small price increase you can also get your steak smothered in sauteed onions and mushrooms, YUM.
The staff is extremely friendly and personable, some of the bartenders even remembered my name by only my second visit!
