John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts

Wow!! Saw Will Downing tonight and man is he the consumate performer. His voice is silky smooth.  And his two backup singers rocked the house.  The sister singing with him is phenomenal; that sista needs to have a career all by her fabulous self.  This is the best place to go that doesn't break your pockets and see outstanding top shelf performers.  Love the Lyman Center.

Saw another great show at the Lyman Theater on Friday....   Gerald Albright & Norman Brown.   Oustanding!   Sold out show, played approximately 2 hours.....  Have three more to attend as part of the Spring Jazz series.

This is a hidden gem for smooth jazz lovers, the quality of entertainment coupled with the price makes the jazz series the best deal anywhere.  The venue is only a 15 minute ride from many great restaurants in New Haven.
