Amity Bowl

Yeah, really cool place, busy enough to be entertaining, but small enough to be cool and friendly. Great staff and a cool little bar to hang about in after a game or two. Great find and really reasonable for price also.

Cheapest alleys in the area, and also the straightest and best kept. No wonder the leagues flock to this place, they have professional level lane maintenance. Recently I took a lesson with Phil, one of the managers, and it was excellent. If you're into improving your game, he's the guy to talk to. In addition, I used their pro shop to get a custom fingertip ball (my first!) and they took extreme care in making sure that it fit my hand correctly.

One final note, its nice and dark in the alley, most places have bright flourescent lights everywhere which is really annoying, but at Amity its a nice dim light in there so you can focus on the pins.

Great place, and really cheap compared to other alleys around here. The staff is very friendly and come over to talk and give pointers. I've never had the food, except for when they gave us free popcorn. Really great place.
