Came on a Saturday night 2 weeks ago with my boyrfriend after dinner to shoot some pool. Â The place was kind of dead at first, only 3 tables lit with players of an older crowd. Â As it got later into the night, many more of the tables started to fill up. Â The background music playing was lacking, but there is an electronic jukebox you can pay to hear songs, that's the way to go. Â The music plays pretty loud from this method, oh and there is an app that you can choose the songs directly from your phone search and play them.
As for our drinks, the first round I had a cranberry and Absolut, boyfriend had Captain and Coke. Â Both came in small glasses with limes that, well..we're very brown. Â When the waitress realized we'd be there awhile for a couple more rounds of drinks, she suggested to get tall glasses for $2 more each. Â Out came fresh glasses, strong drinks and freshly cut limes. Â This is the way to go.
All in all we had a great time :)
I think this place was a big part of my high school education. My friends and I came here very often, and some of us still do. I still suck at pool, except for those random streaks where I do well. But the good times at this place have thus associated pool with having fun, and not my being terrible at it. Anyway....the owners who are often up front are sooo nice and friendly. The wait staff, depending on who is on, is friendly and quick, or somewhat slow. For a pool hall this place is really clean and nice, and definitely one of my favorite spots.
