The Diamondback Tavern

Hubby and I had a decent lunch here today.  The bar area had only one other table with customers.  The service was fine and the food was good.

Wow, this place went totally downhill.  Despite being one of only 3 tables, our drinks never even got refilled once.  Drinks from the bar took a very long time as did the food.  When my entree finally came, it was the wrong thing. Server was not very apologetic.  Everything we ordered was underwhelming.

In the past we found The Diamondback Tavern to have a very interesting menu with reasonable prices and everything we tried was prepared well and was delicious. Because of that we went back June 27, 2013. What a disappointment! Still a good menu, but the prices are outrageous. Rockfish bites were very tasty but only had 5. At $11.50 for an appetizer, it should have been enough to feed two. The hamburger was cooked properly, but was very dry and bland. The Ceasar salad was fair. Also wanted soup but priced from $7.50 to $9. Won't be going back there again.
