Awesome bar. We went here for the first time last weekend and it was great. No problems, friendly bar tenders. Great place to hangout! And, I discovered an AWESOME beer, Siegle (I think that's what it's called, from what I remember).

    This bar wasn't bad...

It was pretty dead on a Saturday night and they had a live band. The music however was soooo loud that I found myself shouting to the other people that I was with. The prices were pretty good, average...The first round of drinks went well, when we were served by the black female bartender there. The second round however I ordered a the same thing I did the first time, a Jack and Coke. We were served by one of the guy bartenders there I don't remember which one nor did I really care. However when he brought me my drink, it looked a little strange so I asked him why it looked weird and he said because they were out of Coke so he had to use Diet Coke...I am not a fool but this guy thought I was. As soon as I tasted the drink it was clearly not Coca Cola or Diet Coke....it was orange soda and my drink was orange with a slight brown tint thanks to the Jack. It was repulsive but I drank it quickly since I was drinking it for the Jack and not the Coke.

When it came time to order the next drink, I asked the female bartender if they had Sprite...she and a regular (you could just tell he was one) sitting next to me, started laughing at me and she gave me an attitude like "are you stupid?!" and she was told me "of course we have sprite" so I told her, there was no need to talk to me like I was an idiot because apparently they had Coke too but my Jack and coke was made with orange soda...anyway I don't think I would visit this bar again. I felt that with the terrible and WRONG drink they made, with the attitude I was given, plus the overly loud music for such a slow bar on a Saturday night...I won't be visiting again.

Decided to give this place a try one Saturday night. First of all let me explain where this bar is located, because it can be a bit difficult to find. Off of Ventura blvd. between Topanga Canyon blvd. and Canoga ave. there is a decently sized plaza with the Dirty Bull Tavern hidden in the back right corner. With the geography lesson out of the way, the review can go on.

Upon walking in, the bar was dead. So much so that the 4 bartenders on staff were waving to us to take our orders... that was definitely a first. The entire bartending staff was friendly and welcoming. The first round of drinks went smoothly, with the only issue being an inability to choose from the 30+ beers on tap. Definitely not a problem though. The second round, however, consisted of a Jack & Coke gone horribly wrong. You don't need to be an expert to mix two liquids together, and even less of one to know that a Jack & Coke shouldn't be orange. We were informed that the Coke was out of syrup, and that instead Diet Coke had been used. Okay... so why does it taste like orange soda? He offered to remake it, which was a start, but he should've just done that originally. The drinks for the remainder of the night were spot on, though a bit on the pricey side.

The live band playing was entertaining, but far too loud considering the minimal crowd. Thankfully around midnight things picked up a bit, and a jukebox came on. This venue is average, with neither really good nor really bad features to speak of, making a repeat visit unlikely.

Dirty Bull is your typical dive bar, with an incredible and surprising selection of craft beer! We live nearby and come here regularly. The owners are always friendly and welcoming, and will even play you in darts! (*I was never a dart player until I came here...now I'm addicted - arcade type machines with an assorment of games!).

Anyways, LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Live music every other Saturday, trivia nights, karaoke nights, sports on multiple TVs (if you like that kind of thing) - it literally has something to make everyone happy. Go. Enjoy. See you there.

This place is a real dive-bar.  It was recommended by a friend of a friend.  Never will I take that  person's recommendations.  First of all, it was hard to find. Went there on Sat night and the place had a bad smell.  It was a combination of BO and cigarettes.  Could be that there is a Hookah spot next door.  They do have lots of beers on tap and that's the best part of the place.  They had a live band playing and a you-tube channel playing while the band was playing.  More people were paying attention to the TV than the band.  Go dressed in jeans and t-shirt.  Tacky decorations with the bull and tap on crotch.

Came here because it had good reviews. It was my GF 21st B-Day and though it was going to be a good bar. It was hard to find in the beginning its hidden in the corner. Walk in and it was pretty empty!...Not the type of vibe you want to take someone for their 21 B-day. It was pretty dead. They had a pool table and alot of dart boards. We were probably the youngest group in there on a saturday.

One feature about this place that really draws me in is the KARAOKE machine. Maybe it's my inner tokyo pop star coming out, but I really love it. It's all touch screen and you can request any song of course, then it tells you your que when you're going on next.

The beer selection is good, I only wish they had PBR on tap... that's like a luxury... I know despite what everyone says about PBR it's still a great beer.

The staff is awesome, Devon is a fantastic bar tender and has a great attitude and really got the crowd going during Valentine's Day. Amazing time.

Randomly found this while finding out the Hookah bar next to this place was closed. I thought it had a pretty cool feel to it and was pretty busy for a Monday night. This place seems great if you like playing darts and the beer selection was solid. I'm a fan.

This place is fantastic. Local dive bar, great place to hang out with friends and chill. They got a great selection of beer, a huge amount of dart boards, and one pool table. Doesn't get too packed so you can play darts/pool and hang out nicely. There is a truck that serves food to the bar with pretty good food. I have had it a few times and no complaints. They have karoake nights on thursdays (which honestly sometimes gets annoying since I don't participate or enjoy) but otherwise everything is fantastic. The owners are very friendly, bartenders are nice and helpful, good vibes overall. This used to be the "corner club" which was a small, dark, really divey bar which honestly was not very good. They completely transformed this place, much bigger, brighter, better, more space, higher ceilings, and even an outdoor smoking patio. I would say this is my favorite local dive bar, especially since I live a mile away and can easily get home after. Beers are normal priced, they even have a huge board which shows every beer with his alcohol content. They do have some drink specials, but regular drink prices (not cheap but not crazy). Props to the new owners for transforming the shitty cannon corner dungeon into a actual fun bar.

your beers are too expensive. your barbecue in the back is not very good at all. your bull with the beer pull on his crotch is tacky. your lighting is strange and cold. your seating is sparse if not playing darts...

your bartender, dan is a peach, however. we love him.

but i'll stick with instant replay for a well priced good beer any night of the week.

    [Pardon the cussing in advance]

    F*¢k yeah!
Finally the Corner Club (formally known as Le Cannon) are finally history!
Yeah, I used to bartend for the former sh!thøle...
Yeah, I can say "sh!thøle". I've seen the many manifestations the bar went through from the tiny little Le Cannon to the present Corner Club just before closing its doors. The place sucked ass & smelled like it too. What's the saying? "you can dress sh!t up & make it purty, but it'll always be sh!t." Something to that affect. But we made the shit-hole the best we could w/what we were given. Nothin'. What are they gonna do? Fire me? I'm not proud of it, but bartending here for the many years in the past put extra cash in my pockets and most important of all, I've met some of my best friends at this location. Hell, I met my wife while i was tending for Le Cannon...but that's another story for another day.

    ENTER THE DIRTY BULL TAVERN!
Doug & Erin (the owners) did an awsome 360° conversion from the dingy, stinky & sticky to bright & airy. The guys reconfigured the bar & pushed it out several feet making room for the large refrigerated room which holds the 40+ ice cold kegs. WTF? They gots BEERS! IPAs, Lagers, Darks, Lights, Wheats, Pales...
For you non-beer peeps...yes, there's a full bar to help quench your thirst.

A few of the former bartenders of the "sh!thøle" stayed on which is nice, since quite a few of the ol' regulars still frequent the place, so seeing a familiar face behind the bar makes for pleasant stay...

NO LONGER does it smell like something died & rotted under the bar. NO LONGER will you make that sour face when the smell of stale urinated beer stench bat you in your pie-hole the second you enter the establishment. NO LONGER will see elongated faces of spent men yearning to be young again...instead you'll notice the smiling & cheery faces of those around you. Why? 'cuz this place is F.U.N.

Dartboards line the interior walls, while several large flatscreens hang from the open & raised ceilings.
Mens room looks the same, only CLEANER.
For you ladies, they've got purse HOOKS under the bar. Yeah, i know...it's the little things. My wife squealed w/joy when she found it...
Drinks priced just right for the area.
I hear they have Dart Tourneys so call in for info.
I hear they have a no-money Poker night as well.
NO food menu. There are plenty of eateries in & around this plaza. So plan on eating before entering...they might have menus where you can have food delivered, but ask first.
Parking in the back via the alleyway behind the supermarkets or via Ventura Blvd entering behind the China Inn Bistro. However, plaza mall parking is king here. If you can't find the front door to bar, just head for the Hookah Lounge & you'll find the bar entrance there to the left. Wholly shit, did I say "hookah lounge"...are those things still cool? As cool as those oxygen bars I bet...

I hope Woodland Hills & the rest of the West Valley appreciate this gem. It's a full step up from anything in the past 15 years & 15 mile radius.

4.5 Stars. I'll round up to a 5 when I hear Doug or Erin say "I got this..." while they push an ice-cold IPA in front of me.

This has been a deez® PSA. Drink responsibly & hope to drink w/you sometime soon. First round is on you. I'm out.

They need to find a better smoking area because the way its set up now, it feels like people are smoking in side. Sucks for non-smokers. The rest is lively, fun and drink specials are on point.

This place looks a little suspicious on the outside and it doesn't help that they use Times New Romans for their sign.

On the inside is a great little bar that hosts trivia and poker tournaments. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I love the YouTube station although I wonder why folks like watching music videos if you can't hear the music. Stick with cat videos!

Besides a nice atmosphere, Dirty Bull is great for it's variety of beers. Any place that carries Boddingtons on tap is okay with me! Of course the giant display with what's on tap is a great touch for connoisseurs.

Formerly the corner club. Dj kyrptonite doing the d$mn thang, had to come and show love dude is the dopest DJ!

Place looks like the ugly ducking that has transformed into a hottie...

Still slightly cramped and not sure about food but the space is perfect for hanging and watching a game.

Where we sat we had control of the tablet connected to a flat screen. Cool! Que'd up some Bruce Lee videos and just kicked it. Between this and the giant beer screen w/ pricing & alcohol % DBT definitely stepped the game up. Nice work, I notice and appreciate it.

    C ya next time

Cool new kick a$$ bar. I didn't even know there used to be a bar here before.

Thanks to yelp and the cool peeps of yelp, I saw someone check in and decided to check it out later.

Definitely hip and total dudes bar, but with all the youngsters hangin around, Im sure it has no probs attracting the girls. I think its something like 45 beers on tap and HELLO, they have Delirium on tap, WHATS UP! Plus they have hard liquor too. win win for everyone.

A bunch of electronic dart boards, 1 pool table and check this out... A YOUTUBE STATION... Good times! Ive only been by twice now, but not a bad place to be. A bit melllow now since they just opened, but I'm sure once the word gets out, the place will be poppin. 2 downsides... there's no food, and its a bit hard to find.

Party hardy or don't party at all ;)

They have so many beers on tap, but no variety. Mostly ipa's and stouts. Their drinks are expensive, 2-4 dollars more than everywhere else. They do have a good happy hour if you can get there early enough.

It's a fun place to play darts, but if your not playing there is not enough places to sit.

Corner Club / Le Canon are gone! Finally...I hated those places.

But now, what's to dislike with 40+ beers on tap, darts galore and friendly bartenders. No longer do I have to drive to Sherman Oaks for a good beer and that makes me happy. This place will be seeing more of me.

RIP Corner Club/ CC and heeello Dirty Bull...

My friend and I craved for some boozing on a jolly Thursday night and so I was directed to meet with him at this place...
Now I know this place as the CC... So I thought " oh wow, CC? Really?? Are we gonna have THAT KIND of a night?"

Once there my friend explained that the place been bought and is now the Dirty Bull.. New management, new decor, the whole lot...

Stepping in and I am already amazed at how clean the place is.. I can SEE the floor, walls.. bar.. people... Niiiiicee....

The place has a proper sportsbar feeling to it and it is jammed packed with Darts machines and other gizmo's... All I can think of at this point is the drunken nights in the UK watching the dart tournament, cheering on every 180.... hmmm. Anyways.

The place wasn't packed, think that was because the bar didn't have it's official opening night yet... But it was cool 'cuz it has that vibe of The Local, 'ya kno... ;)

The staff is super dupe friendly and we had such a  laugh!! They were totally cool with my friend and I "taking over the box' and playing metal. And singing. Yepp.

Groovy beer/ ale selection definitely increased my liking of the place... I mean.. THEY HAVE OLD SPECKLE HEN ON TAP!!! Whaaat... Nice one!!

In short, if you're around, regardless if you're into dartmania or not, pop in, say Hi, have a beer.

    Cheers :)

Amazing! Los Angeles gets its first real dart bar!

This place is darters heaven. With 10 Electronic Boards and 6 steel-tip boards, there's something for anyone.

Soft-tip darts (electronic darts) scores the game automatically for you. You have to pay for the games, but with the DartsLive system, you have an intelligent-card that takes care of all your stat-tracking and online ranking! The boards are great quality, and there are tournaments all the time.

Steel-tip darts is the traditional form of darts and Dirty Bull holds nothing back in making their setups as awesome as possible for darters. Each board is brand-new, has its own light, and has a nice large scoreboard.

Confused? The owners Douglas and Erin are outgoing and friendly. They will show you how to play darts. They even have a shop inside the bar where you can buy equipment.

Okay, so this place is truly the best dart bar in LA. But what else does it have? Well, it's SIMPLY A GREAT BAR. For the sports fans, they have about 10-15 screens, including a large projector. You can ask the bartender to put on something, and they will likely be able to fulfill your request.

This bar has a full liquor license, and FIFTY beers on tap. How many bars can boast that? They also have affordable $3 draft beers available.

This is literally one of the best bars in LA. If you are looking for a great bar and a new experience, I recommend going here, grabbing a beer, and shooting some darts.

If you are a veteran darts player, then you probably already know about this place! Hands down the best dart bar in LA.

    Wow. What a gem!

This place is hidden in the corner of a shopping center plaza, in the VERY corner, with an unmarked door.

Ok, So apparently this place was under another owner before--- but due to a change in owners, they re-did the whole bar!

With a nice-sized bar, open tables, and dart boards all over, this place is definitely the spot to sit down and have a nice drink or three. With a nice friendly bald bartender (Sorry for forgetting your name!) this place deserves 4 stars! You should stop by here if you're looking for a cool little spot.
