Don Juan Mexican Restaurant

For a restaurant out in the middle of no-where, they are actually quite good.

I like the chip and salsa, hard to disappoint on free appetizers.

The fajitas are decent. The onions are a nice sweet and caramelized and the beef very tasty. The chicken is white meat.  It comes with guacamole, diced tomatoes, refried beans, spanish rice, etc...Come to the table on that sizzling skillet. Around $10-12

The tacos look great, they are fried and filled pretty thickly. They are about $2

The enchilada was okay, would of liked it with a spicier sauce. Good filling. About $2

The burrito was okay, it is nicely filled with the meat choice, I'll guess about 1lb of meat, some refried beans and some peppers. Only a little topping of tomatoes on top. Around $5  

The fried ice cream is not worth buying. Never a big fan of the concept in the first place, but this was even worst. The ice cream was rock solid, couldn't chip away at it. The tortilla and fried outside was too mushy.

The staff very friendly. The place doesn't look like much from the  outside. It seemed like a run down establishment. However, inside is a different story, very clean and higher scale looking.

We love this Mexican restaurant. We usually founder ourselves on the chips and salsa. The waitresses and/or waiters are always happy to bring more salsa. We are scoopers and it is fantastic. They have several great entrees but my favorite is the combination brochette. Beef, chicken and shrimp skewered, marinated, grilled served on Spanish rice smothered with green chili. I think we will go there tomorrow!
