Farmers Inn

My 30 year old husband introduced me to this restaurant, he's been eating here since he was 8 years old. But sadly while the food is below average and could be a lot better, the service is what really got on my nerves. Our waitress was not the most friendly person and would not smile to save her life. One of my biggest complaints is the staff just STANDING AROUND!!! Literally looking over your shoulder and watching you as you eat. There is nothing more rude than to be watched by multiple employees while you eat your dinner. If I was the owner these people would be put to work or fired. Very disappointed. If I'm going to eat out I will not be wasting our fuel or money on eating here again.

I grew up in the area and have been coming to this place from out of state ever since. Still is the best Mexican in the country. This would be my last request meal of my life time!

While over in Greeley we made a special trip down to LaSalle to try this place out after hearing advertisements on the radio previously on how good it was. We got here around 6:15pm and the place was not that busy for a Saturday night which seemed a little odd. The chips and salsa was ok but nothing special. Not very many combo meals to choose from and specifically said no substitutions period.

I had a chicken burrito with green chile, the chicken consisted of cubed chunks which was absolutely bizarre and hard to eat in my opinion. The green chile was ok but barely enough on the burrito which was a negative for me. The spanish rice was very good and that was the only thing in my entire meal I really liked. The beans were nothing special. We ordered a soapapilla after seeing a review on Yelp on how good they were. Ours was a huge disappointment, simply a triangle piece shape of dough with NOTHING on it. No cinnamon, sugar or anything... worst one I have ever had period.

Each of our meals with a drink came to between $9-$10 each. I think this was one of the least satisfying mexican places I have ever eaten at in my life. Maybe the locals love it but truly a major let down for us, none of us liked it or will return again.
