This place is in a scary neighborhood and from the outside it looks like the kind of place where you might get stabbd. Â Although, looks can be deceiving. Â This is by far one of the friendliest and safest bars that I have been to in Greeley. Â No joke. Â The owner is a really nice old biker guy who will not put up with a bunch of rowdy college bs like many of the other bars in town. Â The patrons are, well, interesting, but generally nice. Â There is one bartender, Jake, who is wonderful and almost always gives us a good deal when we go in. Â They also have a pretty nice patio, but you would never be able to tell from the street.
Prices are ok and selection is decent. Â
The decor is hilarious. Â There are a bunch of old beer trays tacked on to the wall and liquor signs from the 80s. Â Oh, and gross carpet and rope lights. Â If dive bars are your thing you will almost certainly have a good time at the Green Mill. Â It is the definition of dive in all it's tacky glory.
