Drafting Room the Colonial

Like the previous Yelpers have stated, this place has a fantastic selection of brews. I have eaten here 4-5 times and have never been disappointed in the food. Very tasty and large portions. I particularly love the sweet potato fries. Hubby likes the mussels and frites as well as their fish and chips, which he is very particular when ordering anywhere. They do interesting salads as well - the moroccan chicken and couscous is one of my favorites, but again, it is a very large portion. Besides the selections on the menu, they always have a good variety of specials written up on the chalk boards. The food is creative and well-executed, and you won't walk out hungry or thirsty.

Didn't eat here because I got way too full from beer.

This place is freakin' great. Very tasteful selection of great draft. The place must have a group of awesome "beer sommeliers" who know what's good this time of season and bring seasonal, good beer from somewhat local breweries around all over the country.

I had ottercreek russian stout (which I haven't had a chance to get draft since I moved away from New England area), awesome hop15 (great IPA), and manyunk winter ale (very nutty and hearty). Also the place has a rather impressive selection of single malt scotches.

The only caveat? I had to drive back home (Center City) afterwards.

The best selection of beer in the area! They have EVERYTHING here you could ever imagine. This place is great for happy hour and late night gathering. The food is great too!
