I just went to my first show here a couple of weeks ago and am looking forward to going back soon. Â It's got a laid-back vibe and a great upstairs area with some awesome chair/couch seating. Â And it's small enough that you can feel close to the bands no matter where you are. Â The sound for the show I was at was great and the beers were pretty cheap for West Chester. Â Can't wait to go back!
Review Source:I never thought to come here - Westchester is quite the hike! But, when a friend asked me to go see Civil Twilight with him here I figured I might as well check it out. I am SO glad that I did.
The setting - intimate. You feel close to the stage, even in the furthest corners of the venue.
The sound - acoustics in here are great. The sound is rich and lovely and for a band like the one I saw, that is a requirement!
The staff - amazing bartenders! Attentive, bearded, tattooed and nice! When I asked what it would take to charge my iPhone somewhere behind the bar my question was greeted with a smile and an open hand. "Nothing" he says and promptly plugs it in.
I can't wait to check out another show here. It was absolutely top notch!
cool place. Â just went there to see civil twilight, and it was a neat venue. very intimite. you walk in, go upstairs to an open area with a bar and balcony overlooking the stage. you can then walk down step to stand on the floor in front of the stage. one thing i dont get is the lack of business sense this place has. there was a huge bar uptairs. it was closed!! apparently there was one downstairs. i saw someone with food, but i didnt know where to order or how. we didnt eat or have one drink the whole concert. 3 1/2 hours without a drink! to me that is just dumb. it was a cheap night for me, but i left thirsty!!
