The Social Lounge

We had dinner at The Social Lounge over the weekend. The table was quickly bussed and he handed us a menu saying our server would be with us in just a minute.  Fifteen minutes later our server arrived and said "Oh, you have your menus already." Duh!  I ordered the vegetarian chili and a salad, my guest ordered a burger and a beer.  I ordered the large blueberry mojito and even pointed to the poster advertising it and my hubby ordered a Yeungling.  His beer arrived, not  what he ordered, but a dark ale, and my regular sized mojito.  She was off to another table before we could advise that she got the order wrong.  She returned about ten minutes later with our order.  My vegetarian chili and my hubby's burger.  No salad for me.  Mu hubby remarked that it was nice that his burger came accompanied with a small salad on the same plate. I asked the server where my salad was and she said "Oh, it will be right out."   She disappeared and brought out a salad, not what I had ordered but it looked like she grabbed some lettuce and thew it on a plate.  What a shame.  I didn't catch her name, but she was blonde and we sat outside. If you go, it would probably be a good idea to avoid this server. The food was good but her lack of attention was a deal-breaker.

Cheap wine. Stick with bottled beer.

I couldn't even give this place a star. Service on a Friday night was not up to par with the other 20 restaurants in west Chester.
I ordered shrimp and grits and got couscous. Our server was no great but the bus boy was a doll. He was more concerned with our table then she. Go somewhere else! Listen to this review.
