Jitters Sports Bar

been here 5 times before. People were friendly, came during happy hour - got a cheesesteak and left happy.

I came in on a Monday. A short woman with brown hair basically shouted "What did you need" As I asked about the Cheesesteak special.

MARILYN, as she later self-identified, ignored my question and demanded my ID, then told me the specials don't begin until 7.

Once one of the owners came in, she suddenly got me a menu and explained the half off deal. I went to the bathroom, and as I came back, she was talking about me (never met her in my life.) and shut up quickly.

I ordered a cheesesteak. After this, I tried to get her attention (perfectly sober, 5PM) by asking her name. "Why do you want to know" she asks me. I tell her it's what a proper bartender does. She asks me if I'm "Fing serious?" "You can leave."

Marilyn really didn't care about her conduct and she ruined the entire place to me. I probably would have dropped $40. Apparently I wasn't part of the clique of the bar, and so I won't return.

I told the one female owner who was outside smoking, and got no apology.

MARILYN does not deserve to deal with any customers of that establishment. Her attitude was disgusting at best. She wouldn't be treating any clients of mine like that.

Had good food and nice times at that bar, but Marilyn ruined it all for me. Thanks Marilyn.

Still the great little pub I remember from my last visit in Jan. 2011. I stopped in to see my friends The Courtland's play and had a good time hanging all evening. The bartender Robbie was cool and kept the drinks full and there was some excellent people watching with a couple of the locals that were hammered. Looking forward to returning.

I've found that I somehow end up here every Christmas. And I don't even drink. This is definitely a place that gets packed but is great for people watching. Drink seem reasonably priced.
