A fun place, really friendly and welcoming staff, great service, and okay food. Fried cheese curds & sauce were terrific, shepherds pie very good, fish and chips fairly good, bangers & mash, not so much. We witnessed the staff doing a fantastic job under the stress of getting really slammed on the 4th of July. They warned us of a possible long wait, got us comfortably seated, got an appetizer to us quickly, and kept us informed on our orders. This kind of service goes a long way and compensates for less than stellar food. Recommended.

Loud, wasn't expecting typical sports bar

Bangers & champ - greasy sausage sliced up in some mashed potatoes.  could have been much better.

Fish n chips - typical bar fare, greasy and under seasoned.

Had Molly Malone's Mussels and the cheese curds, which far outweighed my expectations.

What can I say, Great Pub, Great Food, Great Beer, Great Staff, Spent a few nights in La Crosse, Wisconsin and had a couple of great nights there, Was in there on Tuesday night for the pub quiz and the place was rocking, if it's this busy on a Tuesday what is it like at the Week End. You have to try the Irish Breakfast Drink Special, Bacon, Orange Juice and Whiskey not in the same glass I might add.  Tim and the staff there are excellent, can't wait until I am in town next.

Bailey's Cheesecake with an ice cold Guinness to start!!! Probably one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had!  Loved the black and tan onion rings and I don't even like onions!  We ordered two of the specialty burgers; one was a jalapeño cream cheese bacon burger which was awesome! The other burger had a spicy Dijon but it tasted like horseradish.  Not a huge fan of horseradish so that was a complete bummer.  The service was great and so is their happy hour!

Holy wah, I loved this pub. While visiting a friend in La Crosse, I was taken here to try some serious (and real) 'cheese curds'...oh. damn. beer battered cubes of sharp, creamy cheddar that beat the pansy pants off of any lame American mozzarella sticks I've ever had. it was a slightly life-altering experience eating the cheese curds at Dublin Square. I ordered the shepherd's pie which was deeelish, though I would have preferred more meat as I like a very meaty s.p....when I order meat, I expect to get MEAT. Both beers drank at DS were great too, and both WI brewed. Service was fast and friendly. Our waitress and I talked rugby, which in a pub, is only right.

Had a fantastic burger with jalapenos cream cheese, with a perfectly poured half and  half made with Spotted Cow.  Patio seating right on 3rd street made for a fun night.

Good beer and mixed drink selection. I like their local brews available on tap. Service was spotty. Lots of teenagers working (mostly standing around chatting at the server station) on a Saturday at lunch. Our waitress was efficient and professional but it took quite a while to get our entrees out. Fried cheese curds were tasty. I enjoyed their fish and chips but my husband ordered a potato pancake with rueben/corned beef which was not very good. The pancake was literally a breakfast-style pancake, rather than a potato latke made from real potatoes. The meat inside was oversalted and overcooked. Otherwise, the location and decor are really nice and I'd love to return to try a different dish.

Great food. Opens at 11am so you can stop in an catch a proper football match, while still being ridiculed by old fat men who want to watch "baseball or anything more American." Just in case the decor and bartender made you forget you were still in Wisconsin, the locals will bring you back to reality.

Visiting La Crosse and was told that I had to check out Dublin Square.  My group and I were not disappointed.  Great patio. Great music.  Exceptional staff and food.  Bloodies are unbeatable.. ask for the Bakon Vodka.  Definitely on my "must-do" list when in LaX.

I frequent Dublin Square often and have always had great service and the food is very good. Reuben Rolls are amazing. Large beer selection. Cool interior. Customize/build your own burger! All this being said, my favorite thing about Dublin Square is that Matt and his team are always looking for ways to improve. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can kick back on their wrap around patio.

Some friends and I stopped in to Dublin Square for some afternoon drinks and appetizers while in town on business.  We had the Magners Cider, Mc Sorley's Irish Ale, O'Reuben Rolls, and Banger Boats.  We all enjoyed the appetizers and thought that the flavors were well balanced and loved the creativity of the two dishes.  We looked over the rest of the menu and based on what we had for appetizers we will be going back when we have more time.  Another item that I noticed was their creativity in their Black & Tan/ Half & Half menu (Guinness mixed beers), wide selection of tap and bottle beers, and good selection of Irish Whiskeys.

Good food, competent service, nice selection of drinks on tap.  We appreciated being on the Main street corner of the pub, since it was away from the bar and a quieter dining experience.  The onion rings were stellar - they actually induced a craving the following Friday.  I had the Irish Stew (tender lamb, good sauce, tasty veggies) and my companion had a hamburger without the bun.  It was huge, and very enjoyable.  The option to customize the hamburger with lots of options is really neat.  The Irish cider beer was fabulous, and the perfect complement to the meal.  We'll be back for sure.

Still trying to figure out why this place was so busy. Maybe because it was one of the few bars with a half decent food menu? Maybe the patio? Would be two stars if it wasn't for the hand breaded cheese curds which are a good change from the normal heavily breaded frozen nuggets. For drinking, go elsewhere.

They serve McSorleys on tap, that should be a 5 star review in itself.  - I am truly happy to see this place open.  La Crosse was in need of an Irish pub.  They have been extremely busy each time I have been there and are still working out some of the kinks in service, food etc.  I have had good food each time I have been there.  I actually love the Reuben - pulled corned beef instead of sliced is the way to my heart.  I also have tried the Shepard's Pie - which after giving it a good bath in salt, was pretty good as well.  This is a bar that serves food, so that should be what your expectation is.  That being said, it is a great place for a  beer and dinner, a hangout for the professional/working crowd, and will be awesome in the summer.  There are very few places in La Crosse, where you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon beverage outside.  It is definitely a new fav of ours.  And..... if you ever get the chance to go to McSorleys - NYC - oldest tavern in US - GO!!!!
