So far I have visited this location 3 times and I am not impressed. Â I will say on a good note that the staff is friendly. Â The 2nd day they were open my wife and I went to pickup breakfast there. Â They had NO bagels. Â After they did not have the 4th selection I told my wife to just order what she wanted and I would eat somewhere else. Â While paying for her meal an employee called out an order for the bagel they had JUST told me they were out of. Â I asked if I could still get one and they told me I would have to go through the line again. Â Understandably the 1st couple of days sometimes don't go as planned. Â I have revisited them twice in hopes that they have worked out the kinks and they are always out of about 5 flavors. Â I've never run into this at other locations. Â Today I went there and got a plain bagel for my daughter. Â They suggested we not get it toasted becasue it had just come out of the oven. Â They should have left them in the oven or let us toast them because it wasn't even cooked all of the way. Â Mine on the other hand was burnt. Â Seriously?!?!?! Â They need to go through some training again or something. I'll just go to another location. Â Too bad because this area really could use something new for breakfast.
Review Source:Brand new to replace the Blockbuster that used to be there. Stopped in for lunch the other day and enjoyed what I had (particularly the pumpkin scone....yum!) They forgot part of my order and I had to go back and get it, but they were very friendly and even gave me a coupon for a free bagel to make up for it.
Nice easy place to stop on the way in to work.
I was grabbing groceries nearby this morning and heading to the dry cleaners when I saw the big Einstein balloon as I was driving down Hampden and I slammed on my brakes and turned into the parking lot. Â This location JUST opened! Â How awesome to have an Einstein's in my neighborhood! Â There was a pretty long line, but I braved it and ordered a Spicy Elmo to go. Â It was a long wait for the food. Â The staff seemed to be scrambling to keep up with the crowd. Â The manager at the register told me they had a line out the door all day yesterday. Â As I was waiting, staff kept coming out from behind the counter to tell customers they were out of what they ordered... Garlic bagels, onion bagels, green chili bagels, all out. Â It felt like I stood there for an eternity. Â I even went to the bathroom to wash my hands (after a mis-hap at the grocery store prior to getting my breakfast) and I was still waiting after I came back. Â I was finally handed my order and I was out the door.
I ran another errand, got home, put my groceries away and tore into my Spicy Elmo. Â It was still hot! Â However, it was folded very sloppy and made very sloppy. Â It was all tortilla at the top, then a large chunk of egg, the middle of it was all cheese and bacon, then the end of it was just all egg again. Â It was not made evenly... disappointing. Â However, it's a brand new store, I'm assuming most of the employees are new and they were super busy. Â I will definitely be back again, however I'm going to wait until the hype of the new store has calmed down.
