Me and my family have been going here since it opened across the street before moving to the other side and it is fantastic mexican food, the waiters are super nice and helpful and the food is very authentic mexican food, and the atmosphere is nice!

Always nice and they have great fish tacos. Their draft beer selection is limited but Dos Equis is all you need in a Mexican restaurant.

We had a quick dinner here recently. The food was good, good vegetarian choices. Prices are nowhere near three $, that's an error.  It was a little loud, not the cleanest place, but overall a decent place.

El Mariachi is a solid local Mexican food offering to Hebron. In the three years I have lived in Hebron I have been here many, many times. Let's start with happy hour which features a whole list of half price apps and significantly discounted cerveza. A great value to fil your belly with beer and food on the cheap. How cheap? I stopped in for a pork soft taco (one of my favorite items) and a huge beer and the damage was under six bucks - now that's a deal! As with most mexican restaurants, you receive complimentary chips and salsa with your order. The chips are always good and the salsa usually fresh and very tasty. If you want to kick it up ask for the house picante, be careful though, too much will light you up! On the menu I would recommend the Chicken Pastor, Steak Quesadilla (cheaper if ordered without the "salad" which isn't much of a salad), pork tacos and the beer simmered pork burrito. Currently they are running a fantastic dinner special: one appetizer, two regular drinks and two full sized entrees for $20, a great value and enough food for three people.

The beer selection is limited to domestics and Dos Equis on draft, that's ok because I actually don't mind a Dos Equis with my mexican food. Cathy is usually at the bar on the weekends and is a great bartender and always fun to talk with. I give them four stars for the great happy hour value and overall solid food.

This place was pretty cool. I went there because I had a coupon for "1/2 off second entree" on the back of a kroger receipt. Everyday between 3-7 they have happy hour with half price frozen margaritas & mixed drinks so I joined in on that too. The sangria was especially really good (and included).  So basically I ate a lot of food and drank a lot of alcohol and didnt spend much.

Only complaint. The guacamole is the kind where they mix it into sour cream into a dip. I don't like that. I like guacamole that is mostly just avocado. If you are like that too, stay away from their guac. I will be going back there for 1/2 price happy hour again though!!!

If you want a fantastic Mexican restaurant, go here. They have great drinks, great service (we've been on Cinco de Mayo before and had excellent service) and the food is amazing. The shrimp dishes are delicious and I recommend the shrimp cocktail to start with. It can get a little busy on Sunday and Saturday  in the summer with the baseball park just a short drive down the road and the teams gathering for dinner and drinks afterwards, but if you can wait a few short minutes, then it's totally worth it. This is also one of the best places to go with friends before catching a flight at CVG. Give them a try, you'll be surprised!

Food okay, but sitting next to someone who brought a dog in. To a restaurant. And the waitress petted the dog. Ridiculous.

Hmmmm, read what others said, but went for it anyway and am happy we did!

Great lunch pricing, huge TASTY portions, salsa and chips are made fresh every day and taste like it!

Drinks were cold and the Margaritas were perfect!  The drinks are a little pricey since there are at lest 5 other MEX joints local to this spot that serve for half the rpice, but they were made correctly.

Give this place a try; bring your wallet, it's not the cheapest out there;you'll like it!

When I first came to el mariachi I was very impressed. In fact, I loved it. It was in a very spacious location and it was very clean with awesome food. It was always pricey but I thought it was worth the money. Unfortunatly this is not the same location and doesn't even seem like the same restaurant now. It is across the street in a much smaller space. Last night I gave el mariachi another shot. I was with a friend and I assured him it was good food. It was not. I ordered the fajita nachos and it was TEN BUCKS! I seen the price on the menu and I figured it would be a big serving. No it was a very small plate. Wasn't evem hot or "sizzling" like you expect when you order such a plate. it did not come with rice or refried beans. Didn't even come with a side of sour cream. I was charged a extrfa 65 cents for sour cream when it should have came with my food. My beer was good but definatly not cheap. My waiter made us feel like we were putting him out. We had to flag him down if we wanted anything and we were the only people in there. I will not be back. El mariachi, you will be closed soon. I miss what you used to be but its over for you. Sorry

I really do not like to put down places because I was taught if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all.  But we are here for the reason for guiding and guidance.  I love mexican food. Every time I ate here, they were advertizing specials, every time they had an excuse to NOT give anyone their discounts.  Their food is mediocre, not spectactular, lukewarm, drinks are always either warm or cold, the opposite of what they are supposed to be.  The help is polite but you can never understand them. And they dont make an effort to speak in English..  I wont go back most likely for that reason. We live in America and our language is English.

This spacious Mexican eatery is located just a few miles down the road from the Cincinnati Airport in Hebron, KY. I've eaten here several times, but I've never felt their food was anything more than adequate.

Their freshly made salsa is tasty but lacks heat and is a bit too thin. The carne asada burrito (sirloin steak and onions warpped in a flour tortilla, topped with cheese and tomatilla sauces) is sizeable but lacks the zesty flavors you'd expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. I've also tried their salads here but was underwhelmed by their less than fresh salad greens.

With a decent sized bar, El Mariachi is probably a more ideal place to gather for drinks than to dine. Almost everyday of the week there is a drink special going on, such as Wednesday's homemade sangria night and Thursday's $1.99 Coronas.
