I tend to fall in this spot every few months and as always my sub was on-point! Can't go wrong with the Chicken Teriyaki Sub. Fries are good and you have to wash it down with a tall glass of Lemonade. Service was good Kelli (which was the name on my receipt) took my order with no issues.
So next time your in the mood for a great Sub hit up this Penn Station...
The subs are great, I don't know if all the sizing options are necessary
( you can have a 6",8",10" or 12"; no matter which you choose, the workers seem to just estimate. Â Is 2" really worth a dollar more?). Â Personally the Chicken cordon bleu is a stand out. The lemonade is refreshing. Â The fries are a tad bit greasy for my taste. Â My main issue is why doesn't Penn Station require it's workers to wear plastic gloves?
Yes I know this is a chain but the subs are awesome! Â Especially the Rueben or the Chicken Cordon Blue. Â The fries are also outrageously good! Â Fresh cut and fried in peanut oil. Â And the chain started in Cincinnati. Â
This is a suburb hot lunch place with cheapish prices and fast service. Â I love their business model and their employee treatment as well. Â This is one of the few chains I have no qualms about supporting.
