Jim & Jack's on the River

I will have to say this place is great for the older folk. I do admit that our dinner was good not great. However I do not think we will be going back, unless my wife get a hankering to see the Elvis impersonator. Even then she will have to get me drunk in order for me to see that.

I saw a great Vegas Show Band called Hot Wax there tonight...which was the reason that I went across town to this place to begin with.  The food was semi-edible...and over-priced.  The service was bad and they were pretty rude.  When I asked for water to drink for my pregnant wife I was told that they aren't allowed to give away tap water, but if I wanted to buy a bottle of water for $2.50/bottle they could do that; my bottle of beer cost less than they were charging for bottled water.  I have NEVER been anywhere that wouldn't give you tap water to drink for free in my entire life....in the US or any other country.

There is no way that I will be going back there for a second chance.

Oh Gosh, this place is great!  Drive here in your '57 Chevy, or your '07 minivan.  Dance and drink with the R&R greats.  Swing on Tuesdays.  It's old but fun!  BTW: Tip, tip, tip, those waitresses are going to need it soon.  I love this place.  You will too.
