Sue's Bar

Covington has a strong history of Dive Bars. Once a year I go on a pub crawl through 10 dive bars in Covington, and Sue's Bar is one of them.

Like most Dive Bars in Covington, the price of drinks of Sue's place is amazing. Unfortunately, also like most dive bars in the area, the facility is not too well kept. With our group of about 30 people, we literally felt the floor shaking.

Also smoking is still legal at bars in Kentucky, and Sue's Place was full of a haze of smoke. When you first walk in, the smoke just hits you. I actually had to step outside a few times for fresh air, and I've never had asthma.

Overall, this is a good bar for a pub crawl, but not much else. I can't see myself spending more than 30mins here.
