Had the taco dinner, ordered one chicken, one steak, and one pork. Â First off, I'm stuffed! Â The tacos were huge. Â All of the tacos were good, but the pork was awesome. Â Tender, flavorful.... And the home made salsa was great. Â For $8, I'm stuffed and happy. Â Will be back again for lunch!

That's right, Woohoo! As good as it gets. There is nowhere else in the region where you can get better Mexican food. Absolutely NOWHERE.
Must haves: Mole, carne asada, milanesa, menudo, flautas, chiles rellenos, and my all time favorite for breakfast...huevos rancheros.
Never had better Mexican food in my life rather than when El Patio was open in E.C. (And my grandmother's cooking).
I came here on a recommendation from a coworker and I've been a regular here since I started working in the area back in 2005. The place might not be much to look at but the food is incredible. I love the tacos, steak and spicy pork are my faves, and the tortas are wonderful. I've explored the menu a bit and have yet to come across something that wasn't flavorful and delicious. For authentic Mexican cuisine you won't find a better combo of delicious and value anywhere in the area.
Review Source:Michos has become a weekly tradition since I started working at ArcelorMittal in July. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant ever/best value food ever. Â I get a chicken quesadilla with a side of sour cream once a week and don't think I will ever get sick of it. Â
How can you beat free chips/salsa and the best quesadilla ever for $2.69 .... not possible.
The food is excellent but on this visit we had their pineapple agua fresca, which was to die for. Â Â I always get the enchiladas verde here which never disappoints, the steak tacos are also fantastic and the burittos are great and huge. Â My youngest gets a torta, which he loves here as well. Â Â This is a gem worth the trip.
Review Source:This was nice local recommendation courtesy of Yelper pal, Jennifer G in Merillville. Â I had 3 enchiladas Mexicana (Spanish red sauce) for $5.25. Â Refried beans and rice were fresh and good. Â This is now one of my favorites in the area for good, cheap Mexican eats. Â They have a large menu selection, and many items are under $6. Â Dining room is comfortable, and they take credit cards. Â Jennifer - this place may have been discovered - Â lunch crowd was half Hispanic, half Caucasian!
