The food here is very very good, the service not so much. I adore the El Rodeos at the airport an on the north west side off 86th street, but this one the service isn't very good. Granted, my group did sit in the bar but we were at tables. Our waiter ignored us for a long time and it took forever to have him take our drink orders and food orders, but nonetheless the food was very very fresh and I could taste it. From the chicken to the cilantro in the pico de gallo, the food they use is at least high quality and tastes very fresh. And let's be honest, none of us go out for authentic mexican for the service factor. We go to get our white cheese and enchilada fix. It's just not worth it to go anywhere else that isn't real. I'm still a fan and will still return.
