El Rodeo Tacos

I have ridden the taco bull many times at El Rodeo. But it never lasts 8 seconds before that taco is all the way in my mouth hole. The chicken tacos will buck and kick your taste buds into a frenzy with its unique seasoning, probably the best chicken tacos I have had and I have ridden a lot of taco bulls throughout the Chicagoland area amigo. I would also recommend taking a ride on the Steak and Pablano torta. Its a real arm jerker.

Their tacos are to die for!

For starters this had been a favorite of ours for years however the last few times have been questionable. Not only do we eat there we also do carry out. Not to long ago we dined in and I ordered the chicken flautas which are usually very yummy. The chicken inside the rolled and fried tortillas was burnt. I didn't say anything because we are "regulars" and chalked it up to just one of those things...The next time we go my husband orders beef tacos and the ground beef is burnt. Ok he should have said something and had them make him another order but he is not a complainer and like me just chalked it up to one of those things...

Last week my husband came home with chicken tacos for me and beef for him. Mine was okay but again BOTH of his tacos were filled with ground beef that was hard as a rock because it probably had been sitting on the grill for too long and BURNT. Plus, the taco shells are a lot smaller then what they used to be. LOL! the price went up, burnt food and the taco shells got smaller. I mean I seriously wondered where they could have gotten shells that small.

I have always found the place to be mom and pop and very clean. It most likely will be awhile before we go back.
