Really enjoyed their Texas fajitas; the beef and chicken were great but the shrimp were not great. Â But overall, they were well prepared and tasty. Â Their salsa is some of the best around. Â All in all, a typical Mexican restaurant, just above average. Better than many and not quite as good as some. Â But definitely worth a stop.
Review Source:We usually eat at the other Mexican joint in Cornelia, but since we had people tell us this one was better, thought we'd give them a try. Well, we disagree, El Campasino is better!
Ordered 16 oz. Texas margaritas on the rocks, so maybe we had 8 oz. and it tasted of mix. Bleh. Â The Corona Light I had was icy cold and delish though.
I ordered the Vegetarian F. I was happy with it, it was something different..  Spinach quesadilla that was packed  with fresh spinach, very well seasoned, potato enchillada that was tasty too, creamy potatoes and cheese with a smokey thick enchillada sauce. Average refriend beans and guac.
Clark order a chicken mole dish and since we had never had mole before, it was hard to know if it was a good mole or bad mole. We both concluded, if that's the way mole is, we don't like mole! Â He managed to fix up his tortillas with the chicken, lettuce, tomato, fresh avocado and some of my donated sour cream. Â And salsa.
The salsa and hot chips were good. Â Lots of cilantro in the salsa and good flavor. Chips were hot and thin, didn't taste of old oil like some of the Mexican joints tend to do.
