We've been eating here since we've moved out here to Portage almost 3 years ago. Great food, quick service, and friendly staff... Why not keep coming back?! My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and the staff has been more than accommodating making her custom dishes for her dietary needs. I would definitely suggest this place to others.
Review Source:Liked this place a lot...service was blazing fast! We are in town from California and found this place to be totally acceptable...kept it safe-Fried Rice, sweet and sour Chicken, and Low Mein. No complaints what so ever! Can't really eat there, because it's small...I do feel bad for these guys however, because Panda Express is on it's way, but if your looking for some seriously fast, CHINESE food go here.

I came here and ordered boneless pork with chicken fried rice and an eggroll. The pork was completely awful. Dry and rubbery old meat reheated is what it was. The chicken fried rice was plain and had no flavor. The eggroll was nothing but cabbage and was fried in the fish oil vat because it tasted like fish. I tried to get my wife to try some and she spit it out. And I paid almost 10 bucks for it. Do not waste your money here. Avoid at all costs! Trust me you'll be glad you did.
I came here on my lunch break once and ordered the chicken curry. I have to say it didn't taste bad, but wasn't on par with the chicken curry that I had at other places. They did prepare my food in a timely fashion and the service was really good, but I thought the food itself was totally average. I work in portage and there aren't a ton of restaurants around so I will probably come back again.
Review Source:This is SUCH a shame but if you are looking for quick Chinese in Portage, I urge you to keep driving right on by First Wok. Â Ordering over the phone without a menu went surprisingly well. Â Food was ready upon pickup and actually tasted pretty good. Â However, leftovers the next day went SO wrong when what I thought might have been a sliver of pork bone WASN'T. Â Let's just say that judging from the size of this winged bugger -- it lived long and ate well. Â Sure it could be a fluke. Â But, really, do you want to take the chance?
