Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries

Burgers are good but not like in-n-out good. Reminds me of a backyard BBQ burger your good ol uncle will make. The toppings are free which is great. The best thing about this place is their Cajun fries and their soda dispenser. Omg, love the gazillion choices for my soda. So high tech!

I am giving this chain restaurant 4 stars, and you, the reader, 4 reasons to eat here!

1. Great toppings like grilled mushrooms, grilled peppers, bacon, etc. And... they're... free! Or at least included in the price.

2. Fries are decent...maybe slightly above average. You literally get a sack of them. Enough to share with 3 - 5 people.

3. Burgers are always JUICY. I don't know where the beef comes from, and frankly I don't care if it was frozen first or flown half way 'round the world before I ordered it. When I get a hankering for a hamburger, I really want it to be juicy. 5 guys always delivers.

4. No waiters. Sorry people who wait tables -- sometimes I just want to pay for delicious food and put it in my mouth without interacting with strangers more than necessary!

Prices higher than typical fast-food joints but nothing crazy.

Another place I just don't get.....I don't think the burgers are all that great.....and fries are some of the greasiest I have ever had...

I am not a supporter of chains anyway....but...I will likely put 5guys down the list of fast food choices..

This place joins my list of "I don't get its".....along with mesh...oaklies....meridian...and many others.
