Me and my wife have visited several times but may not return. The food is just average except for the Mexican skillet which is amazing with chorizo sausage. Â Coffee is always Luke warm and pancake are just average. But the biggest issue is the service. There are a few amazing servers and few horrific and rude servers. Especially the 30 something Hispanic guy. If you get him just leave.
Review Source:There was a wait, but the servers offered us coffee in the lobby. The waiting area was extraordinarily tiny - much too small for a busy Sunday breakfast.
Generous sized parking lot. Feels safe.
The food portions are generous and the prices are what you'd expect.
I had the Chef's Crepes (with cherries and sour cream.) Wow. They were honest to god amazing. The crepe was delicate and the sour cream/cherry combination was a perfect ratio of sour and sweet. I also ordered a sliced tomato and a biscuit which tasted fresh.
My partner ordered the Hawaiian Pancakes. For the first time he said that he didn't need to add anything else to the pancake - it was perfect as is. No syrup - nothing. The pancake is topped with shaved coconut.
Service was friendly. I could tell that he was very busy with a lot of tables but I felt that all our needs were well attended.
I will definitely be back.
Portions are really large, prices are fairly small. This is a completely passable place to have breakfast, but beware of a Saturday or Sunday morning as there will be a wait. Seek out the girl with the notebook, give her your name, and try not to judge the clothing choices of the other patrons while you wait. I'm sure those willing to wear Crocs in public with sweatpants and a Christmas tshirt in MARCH enjoy the "freedom fries" on the menu.
I had eggs benedict, and it was fine. They ask how you want your eggs cooked (over medium for me) and I appreciate that. My friend got some kind of skillet: Hungry Man's, I believe. I'm not a fan of skillets...to me, they're the sloppy cook's omelet. I'm pretty sure his skillet had at LEAST 1000 calories...which is ridiculous. It should be called "Obese Man's Skillet"...but whatever. The menu is pretty vast though, and there are lots of different types of veggie toppings and also egg whites offered, so I'm pretty sure everyone will be able to find something they like and that can fit within a normal person's caloric intake for the day. You might have to go a la carte though.
