Flingers Pizza Pub

My husband and I decided to check out the place after a BPAC performance and really enjoyed the selection of beer they had, although the prices were a little more than we thought. The pizza was pretty delicious though.

This place just looks and smells like a crappy college bar. BUT! I like it, and I have returned a few times because of the great beer selection and surprisingly tasty food (when you are in the mood for greasy).

Legend is that the owner's knowledge of beer comes from frequent 'mystery packs' when he was in college.  Now, he's made that an advantage.  One of the reasons we're there at least once a week is for the staggering beer selection, and it's also one of the few places in town with hard cider on tap.  Combine that feature with good food (the Flinger Rolls, ham and cheese balls, and especially the wings) and great specials for each night of the week and it really is a fantastic place.  

Tip: Sundays is half-price wings, Mondays is half-price drafts, Tuesdays is half-price Flinger rolls, Wednesdays is half-price bottles.  Other days it's free pizza slices with draft purchases from 4-10.  Also a good place for kids up to a certain hour.
