Steak N Shake

This Steak and Shake is frequently crowded and you can run into 30 minute waits or so to be seated.  We hit it around 5:30 pm and dodged the crowd.  The server was very friendly and willing to offer suggestions or opinions on what to order.

I went with the Jalapeno Burger (our server's favorite) and a Smores shake.  The burger was the typical tasty Steak and Shake burger and the peppers added a nice pop, but I was a bit disappointed that the Pepper Jack cheese was sparse and barely noticeable flavor-wise.

The Smores shake was... umm.. interesting.  Pretty good, but still not sure how I feel about drinking graham crackers in my shake.  Also the chocolate syrup was fairly thick and pooled at the bottom, and even with several stirring attempts, I had a hard time avoiding it plugging up the straw fairly often.  Still.. kind good :)

Decent food at 3am for this girl...

Great Service, Food and location... Maxwell was a very good employee who was friendly and professional. This young man really took his job serious and it was a breathe of fresh air.
