Fiesta Ranchera Mexican Restaurant

I've had good service, horrible service and everything in between at this Fiesta Ranchera location. Once my (now former) boyfriend ordered a chicken quesadilla that had chicken, but no cheese. He informed our server, since he wanted this remedied. The server claimed there was indeed cheese on the quesadilla, but it had evaporated. I found this amusing. I don't think my boyfriend shared the sentiment.

Food quality is also variable. Years ago, I remember it being pretty darn good, hence the frequent visits. Somewhere along the line, the quality declined. On every visit during the past few years, the chips have been subpar to the extent I did not want to consume them. This is tragic, because I adore chips and salsa.

Fiesta Ranchera is definitely not my first choice for Mexican food in Bloomington, Normal.
