went here a few weeks ago to catch some live comedy. the atmosphere when you walk in is more like a small pool hall. Â finding the ticket booth that was tucked in the immediate corner was easily missed. Â but we paid our $10 each and moved on. Â there were a couple pool tables and a bar. nothing too impressive here.
once inside the main room, it felt more like a comedy show. Â seating was ample and they do reserve tables for you. Â but in order to do so, you have to call in and leave a voice mail containing all kinds of info (since there's no online reservations available) including your credit card #, which i was a bit leery of doing. Â and the layout of seats was a bit odd. Â i was pinched in a corner stage-left. was difficult to see the stage unless i moved my seat clear away from the table.
all in all, i like this place for it's franchise name, which brings in some great talent! Â don't believe the Treehouse Lounge exists anymore, so this is it in Bloomington-Normal if you want live comedy.
