I like this place. Â It's pretty cool. Â They got Karaoke and Beer. Â But that's not all, they have a great menu. Â Not "great" in terms of size, but in terms of how good the food is. Â Being a vegetarian, I'm limited to two items for a meal: Tuna Salad and the Fish Sandwich. Â The Fish Sandwich.
It's a great hunk of cod (the best piece I've seen in a long time, actually) deep fried in a house batter, served on a great roll with your choice of fries, chips, corn fritters and sweet potato fries (I may have missed something here). Â I ordered the "half-fish sandwich" and worried it would be too small. Â So I ordered a side of corn fritters with the sandwich and fries and then got myself a beer. Â The food came fast (before I finished my first beer!) and was piping hot. Â It turned out to be the best meal I'd had for a couple of weeks. Â I loved it.
This place is on the small side and I'd had my share of their beer before this trip. Â The place is tastefully decorated and has plenty of space, for being such a small place. Â I prefer it to Brew-Ha's across the street, but it carries a bit of a price hike along with the quality. Â I would definitely suggest this place to anyone looking for a decent pub-type meal with a great beer selection at a decent price. Â $30 fed two people very well with left overs and got them both buzzed in my experience.
