Review Source:I'm a fan for a lot of reasons. I went to school in B-N and while I must confess I usually ended up ordering "Primey's" because no matter how drunk, it was THE phone number I could remember (888-9999).
The pizza is good, and consistently good. Also, I hope they still have the same ranch they had when I was in school because that ranch was fantastic.
I do love Tobins, too, but I don't really compare them because they're just different kinds of pizza altogether. Lucca pizza wins for thin crust.
I like pizza places like this. Â Local, crust that's neither crackery or too bready, a slightly sweet sauce, and not too greasy. Â
AND a large cheese cost less than five bucks out the door.
AND the owner of the place spent like 5 minutes chatting with us, telling us about the menu, asking us what we like, telling us about the community, etc.
This is what local pizza that's not paper-thin crust is all about. Â I like it better than Tobin's. Â I'm a fan.
