Very reasonably priced pizza and sandwiches. Wings were surprisingly good too. We're lucky to have this as our goto place in town. Â Crust is not as doughy as the Pennington places and the sauce is a little sweeter. Decor probably hasn't been updated in twenty years (and is the building built over a stream?) - but I wouldn't change a thing. Best pizza suggestion I was given - and I'll pass along here - light on the cheese and garlic.
Review Source:I have been going here since i was about 2 years old, and this place rules! Â Formally called Vincenzo's Pizzeria, this place has been a Hopewell must for years. Â My family eats here about twice a week. NOTHING is bad here. Â Franco, the owner, makes the best sicilian pizza I have ever had, and I make it a point to try sicilian pies at other pizza joints. Â There's not much in the way of gourmet pizza offered here, but they get the basic pie better than the rest. Â The lack of gourmet pies doesn't matter as Franco will be happy to make whatever you want as long as he's got the ingredients- I suggest a pizza with chicken and nuclear sauce (one of their wing sauces... they serve Cluck-U wings too). Â
The subs/hoagies here are fantastic. Â My favorites are their chicken salad hoagie and their chicken parm sub. Â The chicken salad is like no other chicken salad you've had- they lightly bread and season large pieces of chicken and cook them when you order. Â They then stir them in a little mayo and serve it to you HOT! Â It totally rules and blows other chicken salads out of the water. Â To make it even better, the oil and vinegar on it too!
Bottom line: the food is great, and the price is more than right!
