A little overpriced...But they have the best patio. The pizza is good and they always have an awesome band to rock out with. Also, this is a little bit of an older crowd which is cool to me. This place is full of cougers and MILFS so if that is your thing then you will love this place They also give you a coupon if you are taking a cab.
Review Source:Great little local joint. Stopped by here the other night for food and drinks. Salad was great - all the fried food and pizza was super greasy. Sat at the bar, good service from the bartender. Cheese balls were fantastic. Good little place to stop when you want a quick dinner and drinks
Review Source:Gatsby's is one of those bars that just gets it right. Â Friendly staff, friendly patrons and something for everybody - whether its volleyball out back, corn-hole on the back patio, live rock bands inside, live acoustic acts outside or if you want to avoid all that you can just sit at the bar or grab a booth and get some above average pub grub. Â The unique layout of this bar really lets you experience the bar you want to experience without having to deal with the parts you don't. Â They are expanding the front patio now so soon there will be even more options. Â This place seems to have a good crowd no matter what night of the week...just a fun place.
Review Source:Really fun place for live music, GREAT patio and stellar pizza!
I attended a bar crawl that had Gatsby's as one of the stops and it was definitely one of my favorites. This could have been because it was one of the last stops and I was feeling particularly 'happy' - OR it could have been because it was really a cool bar. I'll stick by the cool factor.
It was pretty packed on a Saturday night and the live country band playing was full of entertainment. The acoustics were a little overwhelming - you're literally five feet from the floor-level band but all-in-all is a perfect neighborhood bar to grab a beer and some quality bar foodstuffs.
Ordered a pep pizza and hot wings last week. Â This was my second time being there. Â Both times the pizza and wings were really good. I prefer Roosters's wings but it's a different style of wing here. Â I don't think they're breaded and it's a more traditional type of wing in my view. Â Really good, not my favorite, but good for a change.
Don't expect anything fancy. Â Good quality bar food type place.
Stopped here for awhile on St. Patrick's Day to grab something quick. We stuck around for pint or two, because the place was pretty packed. I did take advantage of the unlimited corned beef and cabbage, and split an order of nachos with the Mrs.
The nachos were delicious... the corned beef and cabbage was pretty good. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, which anyone knows can be a challenge for a place that's slammed for St. Paddy's... not to mention opening day for the NCAA Tournament.
Beers were very reasonable, with no upcharges for the holiday, which is nice for a place that tends to have a nice (and crowded) party for St. Patrick's.
Overall, a really good time. It's nice to have a nice neighborhood bar like this just down the road a bit.
This is a good neighborhood bar that was established in 1977. It serves the typical bar food of pizza(free at happy hour sometimes and it's pretty decent), wings, subs, and free popcorn. The staff is friendly, fast, and accommodating. On draft as of this review, they have Harpoon IPA, Pabst, Blue Moon, Bass, Sam Adams Seasonal, Alcoholic Cider(I forget which brewery it's from), Guinness, and the typical beers that purport to be American, but really aren't anymore. I'm looking at you Anheuser-Busch. They have a limited selection of scotches unfortunately, but they do make up for it somewhat by carrying Kraken Rum(Put a beast in your belly!)!
In the men's room they have sports pages above the urinals and a cologne dispensing machine, but be warned the cologne might make you smell worse than you did when you entered. I've heard that the lady's facilities are ridiculously cramped so maybe you should pack some Vaseline and hand sanitizer in your purse.
Live bands play downstairs, where there is another bar, tables, and a small dance floor. There is also a pretty sweet patio in the back with another bar and bands play there as well. There are some volleyball courts in back. They have coed leagues you can sign up for in the Summer. Also there is one of those touchscreen games, but it doesn't have naked photo hunt unfortunately.
Go to Gatsby's on a Thursday or Weekend night and bring some friends, tip generously, leave all pretension at the door, and have a good time!
