Cheap beer, wonderful bartender. Strolled in the middle of the day during spring break while students were out while visiting for Atlanta. Loved how the whole place felt and looked, very old with lots of history on the walls.
Yea I would say there are plenty of hicks there but hey they know where to drink cheap don't they?
Would love to go back when there is happy hour- can't imagine what the prices would end up being then!
I came here last weekend and stopped in with a bachelorette party. Â We had a great time, and close to the end of the night we had already closed our tab out. I ordered one more beer, but the bartender told me that there was a $10 minimum. Â I asked her if she could close out the tab anyway since all my friends had full drinks, and it was later in the evening, so she closed it out and I signed for the amount of my beer. Â Now on my credit card statement, she actually closed it out for $10. Â Even though it is a very small amount of money, it feels like the bartender stole money from me. Â I will be disputing this with my credit card company, and they will lose out on that amount because they will not be able to provide a signed receipt.
Review Source:Quintessential dive bar. Â As Shane said, zero pretension. Â Not where the frat/sorority/db's go for the evening. Â Numerous regulars that make it a special place for many. Â If you are looking for glitz and glamour, this is not for you. Â If you are looking for a beer, whiskey, and good conversation, walk on in.
Review Source:Everytime I am in town for a football game, this is where we all end up.
Great wasted fun, the place smells of trouble...and that's where you will find me.
Good alcohol selection, great draft beer selection too. Â The people who hang out here are good people and I wouldn't get rid of them for anyone else!
Go Dawgs!
