Gold Club

This isn't going to be a full review, seeing as I didn't spend enough time here to get the full experience.  But I think this place might need to be taken down a few pegs.  Both the reviews here (all of them are 5 stars... really? I smell plants) and the staff at Gold Club seem to indicate that they take themselves a little too seriously.

The open space and various sections that branch off from it look as if they can accomodate private parties and groups.  Meanwhile, individual dances might not be as popular?  I don't know, I'm deducing this from what I saw the dancers do while I was there.  They didn't seem to try to talk to anybody, which is odd.  How are they making money?  Are the dances too expensive?  Maybe they have a hard time selling them, and therefore have given up.  Who knows?

The stage seems to have very strict rules, for absolutely no reason.  It can't be empty as soon as a rotation has been put in place by the DJ, which means that the next girl to dance is trampling on top of the girl who's leaving and trying to get her clothes/money together.  I've never seen this practice before, except maybe in a Vegas club at peak hours with several hundred patrons flooding the floor.  Not at a backwoods CT club with three guys slouching at the stage.  Very odd.

While the stage habits and the extensive bar options project a very suave, professional vibe, the girls are normal.  They're relaxed, casual, their stage dancing is pretty dirty and unskilled (lots of crotch in your face and fake humping), and none of them conform to what the club management so desperately seems to want to be.  The girls know this isn't brain surgery (uhm, because it's not), but the club really wants to be fancy.  But they're not.  And you know what?  They shouldn't try to be.  They're in Truck Stop country.

Maintain the cleanliness and professional attitude, but don't venture into uptight elitest territory.  It doesn't look good on you.

Went to the Gold Club last night for a party , had a blast!! Tons of girls, beautiful bartenders , didn't have to wait for a thing!! I was also suprised to see that the kitchen was open so late , I was a little hesitant to order, but as glad I did. Had the chicken tacos fresh and delicious.  I will definetly be back!
