Cute restaurant. Small patio is dog friendly, but faces the street.  Good food, but not great. Crumb cake was good.

We stopped in here after the other cafe we were planning on grabbing some food in wasn't opening for another half hour.
Our server was extremely friendly, fantastic service.
Unfortunately, my basic breakfast was not very good. There was a small toast debacle; and my entire meal was centered around it. Maybe I'm strange in that it's hard for me to eat over easy eggs without some sort of toast as it's vessel into my mouth. I kind of half ate the meal and half just decided to give up, as I am not the type of person to send something back twice. I find that embarrassing.

My boyfriend's meal was amazing, however. And thus I know their food is generally very good. The croque madame was superb. His mint lemonade was a perfect drink to wash it all down with.

While my food was not to my liking, I'm sure if I returned here and got one of the many other things on the menu, I'd love it. It's probably my fault for ordering something boring off of such a vast, delicious looking menu.

Stopped in based on reviews here and they were right--what a delightful spot! We're vegetarian + vegan and they didn't blink about accommodating us. We have two young children, the youngest has significant Special Needs, and again, the gals who work here made us feel totally welcome and wanted. The rest of the diners were all old white people, so we kinda were different but not so you'd notice it by the way we were treated by the staff. We had breakfast, although the entire menu is available the whole time they're open, and everything was delicious. I had a sausage bowl, minus the sausage, and it was green chile spicy (and the green chile sauce is veg)! The children had and fell in love with the Desert Pear Lemonade, which was outstanding. One of my children and I shared the Gutiz Hot Chocolate and oh my god was it wonderful. It's a funky space, well north of the wee "downtown" hub, but you can't miss its colorful exterior. Totally recommend.
