Dunkel was on the menu but they no longer carry it. Fruit cups on the kids menu but they no longer carry that either. I have three kids and received only one kids menu and no crayons. Bathroom was out of toilet paper. Luckily they had paper towels to wipe my daughter. The service and pizza was mediocre at best. Probably wont come back, no real reason to and disappointed in all they lacked.
Review Source:Good food, terrible service. The food always tastes good, but we always have to wait forever. We always have trouble getting drinks refilled. We even walked out once after sitting for 10 minutes without any server coming to our table (i know they saw us as they were going to tables nearby). This place is convenient and we would probably eat there once a week if we could get decent service. Its a shame because the food is good.
Review Source:After having wrote a glowing review years ago I can honesty say I am disappointed by one of my favorite bars and will not be back. I was at this bar in February and a crazy old man was calling women in the bar very nasty names and the blonde bartender did little more than giggle and tell them that he does this all the time. Should have kicked him out? I think so.
So this past weekend I go there and a lady walks up and tells us "the bartenders won't tell you this but someone has been dropping roofies in drinks up here" me and my freinds were literally like "ummm..ok?" then later in the same night a fight broke out that was crazy. The bartenders sided with the people who started it and when asked by cops acted like they saw nothing even though they saw the entire thing.
stay away! I certainly will.
Here's what I was looking for: a place I could relax and watch some TV on my iPad and drink some great beer. Â From the pictures on Yelp this looked like a hole in the wall local place-- perfect.
When I arrived, the bartender (Adam, I think?) was so friendly and helped me pick out my brew. I wanted something local, so I got the  River town Hop Bomber - Delish! Would definitely recommend for a lighter beer with some depth of flavor. I later had the bartender pick out my next beer for me, and I ended up with the Rivertown Dunkel, even better than the first. In terms of beer selection, this place had a lot more choices than I was expecting, a major plus.
I settled into a table and propped up my iPad and proceeded to watch 3 episodes of Law & Order (they have free WiFi, by the way). I really appreciated that not one person in the moderately busy bar could give 2 craps that I looked like a loner alcoholic obsessed with Law and Order. The vibe here is definitely "come as you are, hang out with your friends, drink a beer". Â
For dinner I snarfed down an order of mozzerella sticks. They were supposedly made from Wisconsin cheese, but it's the same deep fried stuff you're used to. I also had the Aloha pizza. I didn't think anyone could make an improvement on the hawaiian, but this version has BACON. Yum! Both items also came fresh and hot to the table. Â
Overall the food wasn't blow-your-mind good, but it satisfied my hunger. Where they really stood out was the service. The bartender who served me obviously takes pride in his work and wants to do the best job possible every single time. I was happy. Â Don't come here looking for a 5- star business dinner...this is just a casual place to grab some drinks...and you'll leave happy.
I will say that the first time we went there was a couple weeks after it opened and we ordered their wings and were not impressed and vowed never to go back. Â Since then we'd been hearing from Hebron residents that their pizzas were amazing. Â Since Vintage closed down, we'd been looking for a good pizza. Â Well, we found it! Â
We started with their Beer Battered Shrooms. Normally, I'm not a fan of anything fried (except fries), but these were awesome! Â Definitely a good pick, tasty and reasonably priced. Â We shared their Supreme pizza, the medium was plenty of food for the 2 of us. Â The crust was soft yet crunchy and it had flavor.
We were there for happy hour which meant hubby got $.75 off his beer and we got our appetizer for 1/2 price. Â All in all a great meal for the price. Â We can't wait to bring some friends & share our newest favorite pizza!
Downside, service is a little slow, especially on a Friday night during happy hour. Â They could probably use 1-2 more wait staff.
I decided to try this place out since I was in the area, like good beer, and it's been recommended by a few friends. Â We got there early on a Wednesday for dinner, and it wasn't very busy at all. Â It took a while to get service because the wife insisted on sitting on the restaurant side (which was empty) because she didn't like the smell on the bar side. Â After a server spotted us though, we were well taken care of all evening. Â Their beer selection is pretty good. Â They had a few beers I hadn't seen around town, such as the Cincy Beerfest IPA and the new Coffee Stout from the makers of Kentucky Ale. Â Both beers were $0.75 off since it was happy hour, score! Â For dinner, the wife and I split an order of cheese sticks, which were pretty good and we split a pizza as well. Â I went with the chicken wing pizza for my half, and she did a build your own with pepperoni, meatballs, and extra cheese. Â I must say, I enjoyed her half more, especially all the meatballs that were on it. Â Mine was just ok. Â The chicken had the texture of the frozen precooked kind, but the other toppings were ok. Â The price wasn't too bad either. Â I'll probably be back, but more for the beer than the food!
Review Source:The Hebron Brew Haus is one of the few places in Hebron to grab a decent beer and some grub. Most of the items on the menu are good, nothing to write home about, but palatable. The pizza however, is great. Fresh handmade crust with a nice selection of available toppings makes for a tasty meal. My favorite is meatball and pepperoni, so good. The beer selection is better than most destinations in the area with many taps covering some national craft selections and typically a few selections from our local breweries. If you are a craft beer fan as I am this is your only stop in Hebron to order a pint and find some decent brew. The bartenders are always great and very attentive, but it does get extremely busy on some nights making it nearly impossible to find a seat or even navigate the small corridor to get to the restroom in the back. There really is not a wide enough space to house all of those at the bar and those at the tables across the small walking space, it's gets extremely tight and uncomfortable, sometimes downright unpleasant. All in all though it is a good stop for tasty pizza and some good beer, just make sure to choose your night and timing wisely.
Ok so I am bumping this up to a 4 star location after considering how good their beer selection really is, and how far you have to drive to find anything comparable. Their support of the local brewing community and craft beer in general deserves the extra star.
Enjoyed the Pizza - and the beer! Wait staff was attentive enough for the crowd that was there and we didn't feel left out.
I was hoping (from the name) that they were a true "Brew Haus" and had their own micro-brewery setup, but alas, although we were disappointed in that regard, the food was worth going for -- and going back for.
Maybe it was a case of unrealistic expectations. Â After reading so many glowing reviews, me and couple friends headed out to the Hebron Brew Haus to experience their Wednesday night trivia. Â We finally found the bar, and I was really surprised that it was in a little strip-mall. Â I guess after reading about its ambiance, I expected a bit more, well, ambiance. Â
It was your standard run-of-the-mill place with a nearly empty bar on one side and a nearly empty restaurant on the other. Â When we asked our waitress about the trivia, we got a blank stare. Â When we pointed it out on the calendar prominently displayed on the wall, we got a blank stare and the insistence that there was no trivia planned for that night. Â She did check with the manager, though, and told us that the Wednesday night trivia had recently been discontinued. Â
We decided to stay for drinks and food. Â It was okay, but nothing special--pizzas, fried stuff, and sandwiches. Â It wasn't a horrible experience, but it definitely didn't live up to my hopes or even expectations. Â
On the bright side, it did offer up some prime people watching. Â There was a middle-aged woman getting gloriously drunk and sloppy up at the pool table.
Try the $6.99 lunch buffet: fully loaded salad bar, about eight different kinds of pizza, soup, pasta, calzones, even cinnamon sugar desert bread sticks. I found this place through Google "Hebron, KY restaurants."
Service is fast, friendly, the food of good quality and certainly plentiful.
They keep the "bar" side well away from the buffet, so it's not noisy or crowded at lunchtime. Good working-class folks go here.
Recommended.
This is my home bar and grill. Â I do not claim to be the slightest bit objective about this place. I love it
I consider it one of the best beer bars in Cincinnati because they're willing to cater to the full range of beer drinker. Â I prefer craft beer over the BudMillerCoors of the world, but anyone can walk through the front door and find what they like. Â They're incredibly supportive of local breweries: Â Rivertown is on at least three taps most of the time and you'll find Mt. Carmel and Lexington Brewing (Kentucky Ale and KY Bourbon Barrel) as well. What they've done is is create a place where it's safe for the casual BudMillerCoors to give something different a try. Â I guess what I'm trying to say is that they're a great beer bar without being pretentious about it. Â I like that.
The combination of high quality and lack of pretention extends to the food as well. It's become my go-to pizza of choice. A great pizza starts with its crust and theirs is outstanding. Â Besides all the standard combos you expect to find, they have some surprises. Â The Cincinnati Chili pizza is to die for. Â The BBQ chicken is really good as well. Â The Calzones are huge. I'm a fan of the meatball sub. I'm pretty picky about my chicken wings, and I really like theirs.
If you find yourself out near the airport, you owe it to yourself to give Hebron Brew Haus a try.
If you appreciate better beer, I only have to say two words for you about Hebron Brew Haus - 16 taps! Â You read that right. Â They have sixteen different types of beer available on draft. Many of them are local and most of them are craft beer.
The food is really good too. Â We're big fans of the BBQ chicken pizza and the Cincinnati chili pizza is so unique! Â Personally, I love the walnut cranberry chicken salad hoagie. It's a menu we've been enjoying eating our way through.
The best value is to check out their lunch buffet. Many times, they will ask what kind of pizza folks will want to have on the buffet next. Â Nice touch.
Yes, it's out of the way for many in the Cincinnati area, but for those of us in the Hebron-Burlington-Petersburg area, Hebron Brew Haus has been a great addition!
