I frequently stop in at Henry's because it's a friendly place where people get to know each other. There are parties for special occasions, with free food, and Karaoke nights are fun, with Hiro getting the crowd involved. I do see an all-too-familiar face on this site. Â Michael, if your cheap ass would buy a drink now and than instead of mooching free water, you'd get to sing, though you sound like 2 tomcats in a burlap bag.
Review Source:i have been to Henry's a couple of times all on a Friday night when they have a live DJ. Â DJ No Beats is awesome. Plays a good mix of cumbia, hip hop and country. requests are always played as the next song. the drinks are strong and reasonable so you definitely get your moneys worth. there is a cover on Friday night to pay for the DJ but he's worth the cover.
Review Source:re: karaoke....DO NOT go to Henry's Cantina on 5th in Clovis...Hiro Hayashi, disrespects newcomers,(and I've been there at least a dozen times over 2 years and still the same!) is drunk most of the time in my experience, can't seem to keep his rotation in order even when there are only 2 singers, BAD Violent attitude, I was told u only get to sing right away if ur a cute flirty girl OR u buy him drinks, and the owner Vicki doesn't seem to care.....Patrons are very nice though!...maybe too nice to put up with that? Goodbye Henry's!!!!!!!!!
