Sierra Vista Mall - Rock the Mall

Went to "Rock the Mall" tonight at the Sierra Vista Shopping Center.  It's in the Theater Square surrounded by plenty of good dining, froyo and the Rio Grill, not to mention the theater.  

Wild Hare played tonight and I have to admit that I was tapping my feet and humming along.  They played every thing from "Gloria"~They, to Prince and even some "Smoke on the Water".  But it was when I heard the first 3 beats of "Disco Inferno" that I went wild and started boogie-ing (kidding, really kidding).   But I have to admit the band was really good.

What made this night perfect wasn't the weather, it wasn't the beautiful sunset it was the fact that I got to sit outside and eat at "Good Times" and have my favorite burger while listening to a live band play rock music and various tunes - which they did well.  I had my drink and what topped it off....although I was alone tonight, I felt totally safe.  I stayed just up until the band ended so I wouldn't get caught in the traffic and walking to my car, alone in the dark, I felt totally safe.  Because it's Clovis, I wasn't alone--I saw a few people I knew and they waved me over and well, the rest is just bliss.

It's almost 10pm and I'm safe at home telling you all that you have to go to Rock The Mall.  I set up an event which lists the dates and who's playing.  It's only 8 weeks.  I plan on going again and again.  It's free and a fun event to bring your partner, friend, bud, kids, grandparents, grandkids, hell, just go.

You can sit there outside the Froyo (Big Kahuna) joint and chill while listening to good music.  
I'm still smiling.
