Hidden Treasure (revisited)
Good burgers, and they will actually cook them to whatever level of doneness you request, unlike a lot of local restaurants. Try the homemade chips as well. They are fresh, crisp and cooked to order. I was also impressed with the chicken wings cooked the way you like them and served as spicy as you want. I found the raw oysters to be fresh and reasonably priced with specials on certain days of the week. My food review at this time is based on the bar  food items although I'll probably try some of the dinner dishes in the near future.
As I said in my first review, the place has ambiance in abundance. Â Decorated in a nautical theme with lots of antiques and artifacts on the walls, ceilings etc. You will find plenty of seating both indoors and out and each of the outdoor bars has it's own bartender during peak periods. Also as noted previously Hidden Treasure's great location on Rose Bay makes it an attractive spot to kick back and relax.
The service has also improved markedly from my first experience. The bar and wait staff both are a study of perpetual motion and attention to customers.
Full disclosure, I reviewed this place when it first opened and was under the original management. My review then was based on an honest appraisal of the service and the food being served. It was not a great review and it mysteriously "disappeared" from the list a few months later along with several other early reviews presumably when the management changed.
Well, let me start by saying the place is really neat. Loved the atmosphere, but honestly the food was terrible. Several of us had fish. Fish basket, fish tacos etc. and all the fish was cold, tough, dry and tasteless. The burgers were ok, but my son did not get the burger he ordered and we were credited for that mistake when we cashed out. I would not recommend the food, but if you want a nice place to stop in have a drink and look at the beautiful Rose Bay do that. The staff by the way was great! Our waitress Bethany was over and above great!
