Down the Hatch

This is a fun, decent restaurant with really good fish and ambiance that adds a star to this review. Prices are reasonable and fair
It is always nice to order fish prepared a special way but I am a nut for just grilled and they do it perfectly. My snapper recently was perfectly prepared as was my wifes grouper. Our group also had the trigger fish special which had huge portions and again was perfectly prepared. We were not big fans of the house strawberry vinnegrette salad dressing but the ingredients were fun and fresh.
Ponce inlet is a neat place and DTH well worth a visit.

A lot of fried food. Cold beer. Live band.

Service was slow, but good people.

We sat outside and took in the view and the band.

I ordered the grilled mahi mahi sandwhich which was delicious, perfectly grilled.. And blackened shrimp salad that was equally good.

Great live music on Saturdays and Sundays, gorgeous view of the river and reasonable prices.
